Very pretty but not durable enough for young children
I like this case. The design is beautiful and it is functional and seems fairly durable. I would purchase for a young adult or an adult. I would want something more sturdy for a young child. I love the Apple Pencil holder; that is really sturdy. The only thing that may be an issue is the velvety inside cover. It picks up everything, but other that I love this case.

I really wanted to love this case
I really wanted to love this case. The light purple I ordered is gorgeous. I love the color. And I loved the pencil holder. But it does not protect the tablet from even small falls. I couldn’t imagine big ones. The cover gets dirty very easily. And my tablet sometimes pops out of the case itself, it’s so thin. Which is what I thought I’d like after having a bulky otterbox case for years. Definitely not the case anymore. Just a small drop from my couch cushions cracked my screen protector…twice.. unfortunately I will have to find a different case.

Solid case even for a kid
This cover worked so well for our ten-year-old that we let our seven-year-old switch over to it from their very protected, padded case. Both kids like the patterns, it’s sufficiently protective, and easier for them to hold their iPads and carry them on trips than the bulkier cases they graduated from.
