Northstar Tactical 1050 HD Tuff Cloth Diamond Rip Stop Side Load Gear Duffle Bag

I have never bought a duffle bag before, and thankfully after buying this I'm never going to need to buy one again. I store all of my camping supplies in the bag when I'm not using it. I can fit everything in this bag: tent, sleeping bags, blanket, kettle, tarp, inflatable mattress etc. The only thing I wish it had was a shoulder strap. The bag is so big the one handle in the middle seems too small and the handles on the end are too far apart to maneuver comfortably. The material seems strong and durable, and also easy to keep clean.

Huge bag. Very heavy duty fabric. Pleased for the price. Will be using it to hold light stand and backdrop stands for photography. Ultimately too big for exactly what I need but I needed something long, so it will work. Happy to have it all in one place! Will have to make my own strap to carry over a shoulder. If you put anything heavy in here, you will too.

It's enormous, and holds all of our HEMA gear and weapons for 2 people. However, when it arrived it smelled like a new plastic sheet/curtain, so we left it outside to air out for several days. Which worked fine, but just be advised: you will need to do this if you have a dermal allergy or sensitivity to solvents. Also, it is HUGE which is good, because it holds all our gear, but it could be limiting in the sense that because it could probably hold a human body, it's very cumbersome to lug around. It didn't come with a shoulder strap, so make sure to order one separately.

Very pleased with this item, have had no issues so far. Am using it for canoeing & fishing gear, fitting perfectly within my Jeep TJ / hitch-mounted deer carrier, making access much easier. Holds outrigger parts, trolling motor, deep-cycle battery pack, small cooler and two small tool & tackle bags. Double Zipper, handles and material are all very strong, have not been in rain yet to test water-resistance.

I bought this Northstar 50 inch duffle bag to store an artificial Christmas tree. I'm not really excited about it though.On the plus side, the fabric looks nice and seems like it is pretty durable. The stitching also seems well done. The bag seems nice for the price.The big minus for me is the zipper. Mine is pretty rough on the good zipper pull. The other zipper pull is practically unusable. It's a big disappointment for an otherwise decent bag. I don't know why bag companies can't just put a quality YKK zipper on their bag and charge a couple dollars more for it.This bag is certainly better than the made in India cotton duffle bags you'll find at the army surplus store but I think there are generally better options for a basic no frills big duffle bag. For example, the Fire Force Deluxe Duffle is made in the USA out of 1000d Cordura nylon with a YKK zipper and don't cost that much more. I have some of their bags and they are top notch! The only reason I didn't get another is their largest size wasn't quite long enough.I guess if you need a 50 inch reasonably priced duffle, this may be the best option. Anything smaller and there are better options.

I love these Northstar bags - I've purchased various 1050 versions and have been consistently delighted with the quality, durability, and performance of them.They're used to carry metal poles, which can get heavy fast. The bags fill easily yet don't tear easily due to the ripstop fabric, which also adds nice visual interest to the bag.

I bought this to hold PFDs and kayak paddles. The paddles are 8 foot and break down into two 51 inch sections. Four paddles fit great inside this bag along with 4 PFDs and some other stuff like ropes and an extra pfd. The bag is very sturdy. The zipper does great and has a top handle.

I was expecting 50in long X 30in diameter. This bag is less than HALF the listed diameter. A picture of a tape measure next to it would prove it. How do you misrepresent such a basic measurement so much?? I even overestimated my need by 12in in case it was slightly smaller. If you're thinking about buying this bag, whatever you expect to need for a diameter, at least double it. I wanted to put my 10 in. diameter by 48 in. long telescope in it and it didn't have a chance.Packaging even stated the dimensions above.No comment on quality as I can't even use it.Now I have to return it and find another one. Thanks for wasting my time.

Very large and durable. Able to fit 4 rifle cases inside and still have room. Does not come with shoulderstrap.

great bag, light, lots of room, would definitely take it on a long overseas trip seeing as how there's a weight limit on most flights this bag will be perfect other luggage are 5lbs at least so they waste that weight limit for your things

Exellent bag top quality material nice and big needed a big bag to hold 6 lifejackets for my open whaler style boat

Durable material and quality zippers. I use them to carry 4 to 5 rifle bags all at once when I go to the range. Would be even better if there were handles on either side of the zipper length wise but at least there are handles on each end and one on top.
