Purchased this Castrol motorcycle oil after having a hard time finding reasonable fully synthetic motorcycle oil locally at a reasonable price. There's not a lot you can say about oil, but my Kawasaki really prefers a good fully synthetic which seems to improve the 1-2 gear shift, and this oil works beautifully. The six quarts includedi in this box will take care of two oil changes making this a good value at the price.

How much can you really say about oil? I want a synthetic oil for my 06 VFR and this is the best price I could find for a reputable oil. I change my oil annually since I only get to put less then 3-4000 miles a year on my bike. This oil seems to look fine even after a year. Bike shifts and runs smooth so no issues there. I purchased this because of the "marketing" material that came with my Triumph Tiger. It says to use Castrol full synthetic. Why not. This isn't the cheapest, and it's not the most expensive. The oil change was standard; it's oil. What I did notice afterwards was a strange smell I'd never smelled after an oil change. Really weird. Perhaps something different in this oil that smells when small drips burn off while riding. I don't know. Shifting is OK, but not as smooth as with the previous full synthetic brand. Overall it works. But I'll use another brand at my next change.
