I don't see why not. However, since you said Automotive, I would focus concern on the current you want to put through it. Considering LiPo batteries (3.7V) run upwards of 2500 mA[H], I'd say that's probably a wise limit. (I.E. Yes, but not for your starter)

I don’t see why not. I got these to replace the battery and motor leads for my son’s 1/24 scale crawler and monster truck. They are based on Axial SCX24 vehicles.
