does a perfect job, I have a wooden door plank step thing that leads to my patio and my dog would always hit her foot coming down. This is great, fits very well and makes it easy for her.

I had bough 6 of these when they were considerably cheaper on Amazon but then the price really went up before I bought the additional 6 that I needed. I found the exact same product on Home Depot's website for $3.15 each. The product on the Home Depot website is titled "Residential 9-1/8 in. x 24 in. Black Vinyl Stair Treads by M-D Building Products". Unfortunately Home Depot folds these treads in half just like Amazon did and so when I received them, I had to place them outside in the sun on a very warm day to get them to go flat again. The treads are made of thin vinyl and are perfect for bull nose cellar stairs. I will tack mine down with nails but they could just as well be glued down.

This item will cover the abused vinyl flooring on the step=up. However, I am disappointed that it arrived folded in half, leaving a bulge in the middle. I have weighted it overnight, but the bulge is still there. Would applying heat flatten it out?

For our situation, These were perfect! wish they cam a little longer but I was able to piece a short length with the original one together on the back side. What happened was we had a wooden threshold eaten slightly by mice on the edges where they tried coming under the door eating the rubber sweep. Our handyman made a beautiful sheet metal custom cover over the wooden one and we wanted to protect the metal from getting scratched. This was the perfect low cost solution and made the threshhold non slip and will not get scratched up.

vinyl stair treads - probably not sturdy enough for commercial use, but good enough for anywhere around your house - inside or out. Some deck wood when its wetted or rained on is like its been greased & oiled (due to the mold & mildew on the surface of the wood). I took a classic banana peel spill on such a set of deck stairs and was out of commission for 2 weeks on account of it. I'm hoping these prevent it from happening again and, in retrospect am glad it happened to me and not my girlfriend, or my mom, or a friend, or the electrician, or.....you get the idea. I glued the edges w/construction adhesive and carpet-tacked the corners. (ps: it says vinyl but I think they are rubber, or a vinyl/rubber blend.)

Product appears to be good quality. But item number said "12pk," and I thought I was buying one pack of 12. Instead, I received just one tread. Several persons had questioned "how many in the package?" and the answers varied but some said "13." The description was not at all clear, and I was mislead. It's not worth the shipping cost to send it back, so I will probably throw away this one useless stair tread.

I received it it did have folds and creases but it was for a cellar step.
