Very happy with the Haswing Cayman
I made my own installation setup up for this motor due to the small size of my bow. I've got a 1987 Reneill Beachcraft, 16' and weighing in at 1740 lbs. The 55 lbs of torque were plenty for this boat. My first trip out was with 5 people (total weight of 753 lbs), a small ice chest with drinks and ice, a group 27 deep cycle battery (for the trolling motor only), and a lot of fishing gear. This motor moved us with no problem. Steering was great, power was good at 10% for slow troll, and at 50% it really moved us quickly. The hand held remote was fun to play with. I let everyone else fish for awhile and I just controlled the motor with the remote. No issues, fast response, never lost connection. The foot pedal is a dream. The heal pedal swivels nicely, and the buttons on the pad were very easily depressed for quick action. The foot pedal and the motor itself has the battery life indication on it. I ran the troller for two hours and it never budged the indicator light. This motor uses a low amount of power. I added in the quick disconnect plugs (also purchased from Amazon), everything super easy to connect and disconnect. The troller comes off easily from the quick disconnect and is very manageable to move by hand. Highly recommend this, especially if you're looking to do what I did. Any questions, please hit me up.

The best item I’ve add to my pontoon boat
Completing changes the way I fish in my 18’ pontoon boat, easily holds my boat in a stout wind. The motor was an easy install with the quick release and the remote makes life so much easier. No issues with install. The trolling motor pulls my boat with authority! I was shocked at the power and speed. Great buy and I highly recommend this for and pontoon boat under 20’. Get the quick release and when it’s time to swim you can leave the trolling motor at camp.

Follow up after a year use!
I’ve had my boat out about 4 times now since installing the Haswing. I’ve been pretty happy with it.Pros:Has auto on from speeds 1 - 10Having both foot pedal and remote are nice.Battery life has been really good.Setup was pretty easy.Cons:The unit hangs over the bow by design. There was no thought on the added fish finder cable so my cable hangs and cut in half after pinching during first use. I came up with something using a spring to pull away from that happening again. The foot peddle could be engineered better. It function but not great.Year follow up. This thing is the best you can buy for your money. Had it a year and it’s been great. I use the foot pedal when casting lures, and remote when finess fishing. Holds true in the wind. Auto troll is great when moving town the sides of the lake.

Outstanding wireless trolling motor
I give this fine trolling motor 5 stars having only owned it a month. Time will tell if it holds up, but right out of the box, it's the best 12 volt trolling motor I've owned. I've had'em all, both Motorguide and Minn Kota. I'm replacing a wireless 55 lb thrust motor that is a piece of crap with a transmission that never worked properly. The Aquos is a significant improvement. Smooth acceleration, responsive wireless control, good hand-held remote. The foot control is a tad cumbersome - too big - but responsive. Had a little trouble with the sparse operating instructions, but the motor is pretty intuitive. The motor MUST be in the down position to pair up and operate. Once I figured that out, no problems. I like the usb charging cable for the hand remote. I also keep the foot control covered when not in use, as some revues indicate it might be prone to weather problems. All in all, a fine trolling motor out of the box.

Nice motor for the money, Support a challenge
This may get long winded. Purchased the motor back in April 2020 and on the 4th time out the remote stopped working and would not sync back to the motor. After contacting Amazon as Aquos has no contact information on the site. Amazon was able to get me an email for the Aquos. They do not have a support number. I email Aquos and did not hear back from them for weeks. I contacted Amazon again and they helped push along the email I sent. I finally received a response. They were very responsive once I was able to get in contact with someone and they sent me out a new remote. The new remove did not work. So again after several emails and having to send some videos showing that the remote would not sync up with the motor. They ask for pictures of the way I connected the battery. I even had to send them a picture of the battery charge to show it was fully charged. After all of this they sent me an email with a link on how to change the motherboard and offered to send a new motherboard. At this point I felt uncomfortable in having to open the unit up and most likely would void my warranty in future. I said no and that I would like a new mother. Aquos sent me a new motor and I received it the other day and it is working fine. Hopefully it continues to work. It took about 7 months to get this resolved.

Great value
The trolling motor took some getting used to to since it is the first one I have had that was not a handle operated model. It’s quiet, responsive, and very good on battery use. Works great in the bay on my 17 ft mako skiff.

Not a good product.
Motor run for 15 minutes and then shuts off. Wait 15 minutes then it starts again and sometimes it won't start until next day. I have 4 new interstate deep cycle batteries. Does the same thing on all of them.

A high price doesn't guarantee years of operation
Unfortunately, after four years and two (yes, just two) uses, the motor decided it won't spin the prop no matter what I do, but it also won't turn off unless I flip the 60 amp switch, and it drained my battery chain over night. Completely dead. They're still on the trickle charger right now. If trolling motors now don't even last four years, I'll go with a cheap Minn Kota next time...
