Favorite shirt
This is my favorite shirt so far. I've been into merino for a few years now, this is exactly what I was looking for in an everyday short sleeve. It does have lines down the side to keep it tucked in but I don't mind it. It won't be scratchy if you take proper care of it, not sure what happened there unless they just ignored basic merino care and threw it in the dryer.edit 1 year later and its still my favorite. wanna get a second but i don't really need to, barely have to wash this as it is and its in great quality still. wear it working out, hiking, at work, casually, etc. it does it all.

Impressive!
"This wool T-shirt from Amazon is impressively soft, keeps me warm, and best of all, I stay comfortably dry without sweating underneath it. Highly recommended for its quality! “

More like underwear than a t-shirt
UNIMPRESSEDAfter wearing merino wool t-shirts (the tagless, 100% merino wool kind) for 5+ years and loving them, this is my first purchase of the Icebreaker brand. The only reason I went with this brand and something that wasn't 100% merino wool was because it had a v-neck which I needed to wear under long-sleeved dress shirts. The ONLY thing that I like about the shirt is the fit. It fits really well. (I'm 6' tall 185 lbs. purchased size Large)It is not something that I would want to wear without another shirt over it because the side seams are sewn wide and with a different color thread giving them an unappealing look. There are 6 (yes 6!) different tags sewn into the shirt, one tag for each language or set of instructions. Wow, that's uncomfortable. It will serve the purpose but for comfort and anti-odor I'll stick with the other brands.

Very good for travel.
Color is natural (undyed), not snow white. That said, this is a base layer (an undershirt) and I find the the natural color (unbleached?, undyed?) does not show through on any of my shirts including white formal wear shirts and white dress shirts. I find the fabric hand is comfortable, but I feel I should mention that I seem to tolerate wool next to my skin better than some. The V-neck works well for me because I like to be able to wear a button up shirt with the collar button open. This is one of very few merino V-necks in a color I feel comfortable wearing with white dress shirtsI wore this on a 3-week trip to Europe. It was easy to wash in a sink in the evening and was always dry in the morning. I have not noticed wear (including pilling), but perhaps that is because I handle it very gently - I don’t WRING it out.So, why not five stars? I feel the cost is high for what one gets. My other V-neck merino wool base layer shirts cost much less. Were it not for the color, I would not have purchased it. Still, knowing what I do, I would probably buy another if I needed a ‘whitish” undershirt for travel.

Perfect under sweaters and shirts
Excellent quality (I have purchased this brand for decades), sleeves are long enough to be comfortable, shirt is long enough to stay tucked in, wool fabric wicks away moisture and keeps me cool. V-neck effectively hides the shirt from view under sweaters, polos, and open-neck shirts.

Well designed, strong, completely odorless
This T-shirt can be worn many times and no odor is absorbed into the fabric. It is well constructed, and can be washed and worn many times before holes form

Wool tshirt
This is sheer and an undeshirt, even though I wear it as just a t shirt. Marino wool is an amazing material. Feels so good.
