The PIPE-MAX is a combination belt grinder, electric sander and pipe polisher. The rear hard rubber contact roller drives the abrasive belt to grind curved, round, pipe and even flat surfaces. This burnishing system grinds from coarse to very fine finishes and burnishes to a high-gloss finish. With a 1710 watt motor and seven different speed control settings the PTX can be used on a wide range of metals. It is ideal for steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, iron, copper and more. The sanding belt follows every contour to grind and polish up to a high-gloss finish. The belt wraps conforms outside pipe and requires only a few steps to polish the entire circumference.

With a built in tachogenerator this pipe finishing machine will maintain constant rpm/power to the drive roller on any setting to prevent streaking and waves that occur with a cheap belt sanders and non-regulated machines. With cheap, non-tacho tools a consistent finish is not achievable because the operator cannot maintain consistent pressure. The constant amperage and power of the Pipe-Max save you time and money by increasing productivity and reducing labor cost.
