Perfect for PS5
Paid £68 for 1TB heat spreader version via Amazon Warehouse, which I was happy with. I'm sure they'll continue to slide in price though. I'd bought it to fit into a PS5 - it was super easy and fast. Took the side panel off, unscrewed the SSD panel, inserted the drive, fitted the ME screw and put the SSD panel and side panel back on. Within 5 minutes of opening the drive, it was fitted, formatting and downloading onto it. As a speed test, my PS5 clocked it at 6554 - not quite the 7000 but this is more due to PS5 bottlenecks. Performance is great. I'd moved around 350Gb games to it and that took maybe 90 seconds. I'm not too fussed whether that matches peak speed or whatever, just recognise that this drive is super fast and a decent price.

Brilliant.
It's an M.2 SSD, it plugs into any PS5 very easily, it performs exactly how you need it to perform, with very fast read and write speeds! Not that it matters too much for a PS5 (which is what I use it for) as other than transfer from a hard drive to or from this hard drive you'll barely notice any difference. If you want a bit more hard drive space for your PS5 and you need it to perform to at least the same standard as the PS5's internal - buy this one.

Excellent drive. Works as advertised.
This works as expected and is just as fast as it says it can be. I can see another reviewer saying it is not as fast as advertised, as he got 6000ish read speed, but as you can see, it does go up to 7300. The write speed might go faster, but 6000 is close enough and certainly fast enough.. This will boot to Windows faster than 20 seconds as they claim as well. I could be in windows in around 6-7 seconds. The read speed is ridiculously fast. Would definitely recommend this if you have the required PCIe 4.0 slot to get the full speed.

All good - PS5
I chose the Kingston FR m.2 for my PS5 after doing a bit of research. While its competitors performed very close, at the time of purchase the Kingston was competitively priced, and had the highest MTBF (2,000,000) as far as I could see. The higher the MTFB, the less likely you are to encounter a failure which is worth considering when buying a m.2 drive. It was easy to install to the PS5, but make sure you fit a heatsink (sold separately) on first, as recommended by Sony. My PS5 estimated the read speed to be 6.5GB, this is below the stated speed, but in line with other SSD’s I’ve tried with this console such as the 500gb SN850 (6.4gb). Available storage was a full 1tb. I was able to transfer Diablo 4 (80gb) from the PS5 storage to the Kingston FR in less than 56 seconds which was quicker than expected. As for the game itself, it ran smoothly, with no issues, loading screens were less than 3 seconds long. The only downside with this was the packaging. I took care to open it with scissors and the ssd fell out as it wasn’t held in to anything securely. It doesn’t seem to have suffered damage but would recommend taking out the accidental damage cover if it is available. I’ve only had this a short while so will update the review if needed. Right now though, it’s a very easy recommendation from me.

Reliable and great value for money!
Have been looking for an NVMe drive for a while now, replacing my documents drive (a mechanical drive on its way out) and my OS/primary C:/ drive (another failing drive, an old SSD). Always a bit weary about some brands given the high failure % and even though I've got cloud backups, it's nerve wracking getting the right drive! Heard a lot of good things about the Kingdon FURY series vs Samsung and Crucial's flagship drives, so bit the bullet! The result so far? Perfection! My initial documents drive has been running for almost a year with no issues (a Kingston 2tb FURY drive), and recently cloned my C: drive onto a separate Kingston FURY with zero problems, too! If you're on the market for a drive, I would definitely consider this! If you PC doesn't have an NVMe slot and you have a free PCI slot, then there are adapters available that may not get you full speeds, but far better performance over regular SSD Sata drives!

7300 read speed - not quite
Bought as an upgrade system disk for a Z590 motherboard with a i7 11700kf. Simple fittings as needed to clone original M.2 drive. Kingston's cloning software is a bit of a bother. You'll need to create an account with Acronis, enter a long key then enter another shorter key to get access. I just used Seagate's Acronis solution as I was cloning one of their Gen 3x4 M.2 drives (510). The drive is very quick but not quite as quick as Kingston claim. Mind you'll hardly notice. Win 11 Pro to usable desktop 20 or so seconds. Office apps start instantly. The packaging was not really substantial enough plus Amazon packaging also not strong enough. Nice boot print on the packaging. For the price it is a decent buy.
