Red icing is so hard to get a true red color. I had never used this red food coloring gel before but I saw it had good ratings so I took a chance. I was very happy with the color of red that it made. I used around half of the tube with two cans of icing and it made a beautiful color of red without changing the consistency of the icing, taste, or smell. The plastic tube it came in was very easy to use and save any unused amount with the screw top plastic lid. I didn't experience any leakage from using it after opening as that often occurs with other products I've used. The color did stain my hand when I used it but it did wash off easily with soap and water. I highly recommend this food coloring, I've been decorating cakes for years for fun and have never found any red food coloring that performed anywhere close to this Ann Clark gel, it is a winner. I will definitely be buying more of Ann Clark products in the future.

I made a Wednesday Addams cake for my granddaughter, so the icing really needed to be black, not gray. This coloring worked so well! The cake was really black, and there was no odd taste to the icing. Just keep in mind a black cake turns into black teeth and tongue. Now I want to try the red.

I ordered this Pumpkin Orange Food Coloring Gel to decorate a Thanksgiving cake, and it worked perfectly. The color looks just like real pumpkin, and it didn’t change the texture of the frosting at all. You can’t taste it, either, which is a big plus. I’ll definitely use it again for future cake decorations!

I ordered this product to make icing for a golf-themed birthday cake. The gel coloring mixed into buttercream icing very well and there was no change in the taste of the icing. While I got good results with it, the color is a little lighter than the picture and it required a lot of gel to get the icing close to the picture. I also used it to make drip icing on the same cake and it turned out to be more of a lime green; this of course could have been operator error because white chocolate ganache can be tricky. For $6, you definitely get what you pay for. The tube depicted contains more coloring than it would appear and the quality is okay overall. Shipping was fast and the product arrived right on time. If you want a cheap, gel food coloring that will get the job done, this is the one.

Great stuff ...much better than regular grocery store food colorings I will order more I found my mom's old Mirro Cookie Press gizmo and I am now making the old Christmas Tree cookies dyed green !

Food coloring is great for frosting xmas cookies for sleigh runners, santa’s boots and belt.

Small amount goes a long way. Does not function when put with oil based candy. Consistency is great for frosting and cake coloring, when closed no leaks

The love hearts are a quality white chocolate that I melted in the microwave and coloured with this teal. A little goes such a long way! Also frosted icing for a Tiffany-inspired tea party.

Ook deze werd licht van kleur als ik het ging mengen met slagroom. Ik had wel een felrode kleur verwacht. Ik wou versiering aanbrengen op mijn gebak, maar nee , jammer genoeg is het niet dat felle wat ik wilde. Ook spijtig dat ik het kocht.
