The media could not be loaded. This is nice design and compact footprint, however whilst the magnets are strong it does not hold all types of knives. I have found that (a flexible filleting) knive with a shoulder simply won't stay put.

The media could not be loaded. This knife block is heavy and feels quality however there is two little points that let it down slightly.1. The magnets are only in the top third of the block. This means my larger knives aren't secured at the bottom and don't want to sit vertically. The weight pushes them off at an angle unless you spend some time placing them perfectly but then a spin will displace them again.2. The bearings at the bottom which allow the block to spin feel quality and nicely weighted however, it feels a bit grainy like there's some dirt in there.The last issue isn't with the product itself, the polystyrene packaging disintegrated in the box and for some reason became statically attached to the block. Was a slight pain to clean as it just kept reattaching.I also didn't realise how big it is. It's quite bulky on the worktop. 30cm tall by 13cm2.
