How did I manage before we bought this!! It has been used frequently, from large jars, down to opening plastic milk bottles. Every home should have one!!

The media could not be loaded. It works a treat. I drink far too many tins of beer so this will reduce my rubbish massively. I used my own screws and plugs because I prefer to. The ones supplied didn't look strong enough.Push the can in slightly before pulling the handle down. You can crush Pint (568 ml) cans if you do this.

Sturdy design and does its job well.

We drink a lot of cans in our house and as a consequence, our recycling bin gets full very quickly. This can crusher/compactor is a genius invention that has stopped my adolescent trying to stamp the cans down in our kitchen in his slippers and mashing up his feet, not to mention spilling drips of Diet Coke all over the floor.I've now hung up this can crusher next to the fridge, it's very simple to use and it helps us effortlessly crush the cans into a neat and compact tablet, which significantly saves space for us in our recycling between collections every two weeks.TIP: I'd suggest squeezing the can and making a dent in it, as it will weaken the can and make squashing it down far easier. It's a pretty simple invention but an essential piece of kit in my house! Recommended.

Strong and sturdy that is all. Seen lots of these that when you push handle down they feel flimsy and handle moves a lot. this item is not one of them.
