I have been a long-time customer of Now products and recently started using Castor oil for more than my eye lashes and eye brows. 1. New Hair Growth (mix it with relaxing rosemary oil and put it on my scalp at bed time, wake up and brush through my hair (leaves hair very soft and conditioned as well as helps with new hair growth) 2. Thinning hair (I have fine hair so putting it on my hair line has assisted in the hair regrowing, slowly but surely!) 3. Hair Conditioner (**No need to use regular hair conditioner anymore) - I mix a nickel to quarter size in my hand with my shampoo and completely lather my hair and scalp. Leaves my long, baby fine hair easier to untangle, more lustrous and fuller in body (I have very long, fine hair and this helped with detangling wet hair) 4. Scar tissue (*This is a must if you have had any cuts or surgery scars. I had a bad scar above my pelvis and have been putting this on it every night at bedtime and every morning and it has really diminished the redness of the scar :). 5. Fine lines (*I have been using this on my neck at bedtime and wake up with less dry/aging lines on my neck) 6. Eye lash growth (put on at bedtime, leaves your lashes soft and conditioned over night) 7. Fuller eye brows (put on at bedtime, leaves your brows fuller, and will assist with hair growth) ***Great product! A small amount goes a long way and has so many uses for overall beauty!

The Item arrived little late than expected I after I opened the box there was a leak inside it That's why I gave it 4* other than that I like Now solution manufacturer's products. I had used them in the past and still using them. Their product are great. I am just worried about the leak and bottle seemed opened!!. I recommend this company to everyone.

This is a great oil to add to your natural hair care routine if you want to grow your natural hair. I have used this castor oil for years, and my hair and scalp love it, and no, it's not too thick (just make sure if you have greasy hair, this may not be the best oil for your hair type), but it works great for my 4C natural hair. I love that it does have a little moisturizing effect, even tho it's not to much. It virtually has no scent, so if you don't like the herbal smell, you will be fine, but I love it, so I have no problem with it. I love that this oil is budget friendly because I use it a lot as it is a thick oil you don't need a lot, so a little goes a long way. You can have this oil for months and get the most use out of it. The last note is that I use this oil overnight if I see a pimple, and it dries out the following day. My skin is sensitive, and most acne products irritate it so this has been a lifesaver when I get a pimple. I have used this castor oil for years, and the quality has never changed, so every few months, I make sure to grab a few bottles to stock up. Worth the price and works both on my hair and skin.

This is my second time buying this product and I didn’t realize I hadn’t written a review yet but It’s safe to say that I love this product. I use it for two different things, my 4c hair and scarring. My first review will be on my hair. This is extremely moisturizing and helps my hair thicken and grow. My hair is stubborn and doesn’t like to grow but using this really helps it thicken and once used enough, it starts to lengthen as well. I definitely recommend this for hair usage. The way that I use this on my hair is no different from when I’m regularly greasing it, I do it once or twice a week after a shower while my hair is wet then wrap it up. The next day it’s as soft as it can be and stays that way for a few days. Secondly, scarring. I highly recommend this for any type of scarring but most importantly, new scars. I have used this on both new and old scars but I find that it’s more useful when dealing with new ones. Only a few weeks in and my new scars have lightened enough so that they look like old scars vs my old ones still look the same or they are a tad bit lighter. This definitely doesn’t remove them completely but it doesn’t help your skin heal up a little bit faster so that your not feeling self conscious about yourself. I just recently got bit up by a bunch of misquotes and spiders and which my skin is very sensitive to any type of bug bite, my arms and legs have scarred up quite a bit but with the help of this I know that they’ll lighten significantly in a short period of time. I’d also like to note that you DONT have to be consistent with the “treatment” I have a very crappy memory and often forget to use the castor oil on my scars at night but they have still shown signs of lightening up even with my forgetfulness. Btw, it works on stretch marks as well but it does take longer to see results — in my opinion — vs regular cut or bite scars.

One of the best brands of castor oil. It's not to greasy. A little goes a long way. It's great to use to seal in moisture on your skin and hair.

I am sooo happy with this product! It's very thick like it's 100% pure caster oil. Since it's thick, I mix it with hibiscus tea extract when I put it on my hair. But I use it as is on my eyelashes. I only put at the tip of lashes to avoid any possible irritation. Since it's thick, it doesn't accidentally get into my eyes. I was originally looking for cold-pressed castor oil, but I researched and found that expeller pressed oil is as good. The scent is so dreamy with some kind of natural nut, castor that is. And I really appreciate the generous 4oz bottle for only a few bucks. I was originally looking for a tincture-style glass bottled one, but this one is just fine. I've been using many other products for my hair, and I don't think this one has solely contributed to my hair health, but my hair loss issue has ceased. I totally recommend this product. Update on Feb 2022: I actually stopped using this product shortly after writing the above, and my hair is happier.
