Item arrived on time in good condition. I have used the tongs for grilling hotdogs one time and they worked as expected. The tines come together well to grab heftier objects and the scalloped edge worked well for the hotdogs. I like the length for reaching to the back of the grill without getting too near the flames. The clasp lock to keep the tongs closed is metal and substantial so I have little doubt it will hold up well over time. The hanging hook on the end is a nice added extra. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I bought these a few years ago and they are good quality excellent. The problem I have is a tongue this long it's somewhat clumsy when you're holding a piece of food one handed. When you pick up something really big with them they're good because you can get two hands on like a 20 lb brisket. The best songs I have or much thicker than these probably twice as thick and are around 60 inches long they have a spatula on one side and a tongue on the top side. You left a burger or a steak with the spatula and the little tongue that looks like the handle knees holds it in place while you flip it. I found that I don't normally need to get as far away from my food however these are great for adding charcoal to your baskets and wood chunks they're perfect for that. When I cook chickens with a beer can up their ass I've tried to use strong's but my chickens are so tender that tongs of any kind didn't want to cut them in half and break them in pieces. The best thing for those is just to use some of those waterproof $932° 17-in long neoprene rubber gloves. You can bear hug the whole chicken and set it off onto a tree without breaking it in pieces. I have it timed out perfectly I cook it for two and a half hours at 250° and I never open my Weber Mastertouch Kettle until it's done. I use the charcoal baskets come with it and push the charcoal to the right and left sides cooking my chickens in the middle. I've cooked six chickens at once standing up on their tail. These are great times for certain applications but for most things they're just a little bit too long. They are well made. There you have it my two cents worth. God Bless Y'all...

I have been grilling for over 45 years. I have bought many tongs, most of which did not hold up. This tong stands out as the best I have seen. The build quality is top notch, heavy duty with a solid feel and design. After putting several cooks on this I knew I had finally found the product I was looking for. I recently bought one as a gift and will be ordering another for myself.

I bought this to replace some spot welded tongs that fell apart in the middle of cook. I had not really paid much attention to how the tongs were constructed before. These are even stronger than they look because they are rolled into kind of an I-beam shape and they are made where each arm is a single piece of metal. They are fairly light but they do not flex when handling food. The two different ridges on the gripping end really do make a good difference with grabbing food. Rounder items like chicken thighs or flatter items like steaks are no problem. Also a half rack of ribs was easy to manage. These tongs are super long which keep your hand away from the direct heat of the grill. This is a better bonus than I thought. It could make storage a little bit challenging but I have a drawer that is more than 2 feet wide not an issue for me but you might want to make sure you have a place to store it. The locking system works well. Because they are so long you do want to lock them or they will flop around while you’re carrying them.

Very well made but too long and heavy-duty for what we bought it for: to place logs in our woodstove. The grips make it hard to place the logs. They won't let go! Still very high quality.

These are the real deal when it comes to grilling utensils. Heavy duty. Great grip and high quality. These are going to outlive the X brand grill products I’ve been buying. Great value and well worth the extra money.
