3.5* Hmm. It's a bit preachy and up itself, which is off-putting, as I wanted a simple diary/planner
I'm in 2 minds about this diary/planner. It's my bad for expecting something simple and practical and maybe the description should have clued me in more, as well as the rather overinflated price. I got a lot more than I bargained for, and whilst I see that the message at the front is meant to be uplifting and encouraging and motivating, it's also a little didactic and pontificating, which is off-putting. It feels like for the last 2 and a bit years we've been told to do so many things, there have been so many rules and I get the purpose of the message, but it just feels a bit too arrogant and as if I'm being told just more things. Perhaps English isn't the founder's first language, because it comes across as a bit pompous, frankly. The next couple of pages allow you space to set your short, medium and long-term aspirations and goals/ they ask you to rate your life/list core values and purpose/there are quotes by Lucille Ball, Harley Davidson, Jim Carrey, Ayn Rand, Estee Lauder, Oprah Winfrey and more. It feels like a high-energy, high-intensity workout class and it feels very American, which frankly is even more off-putting and is quite arrogant, too, seeing the mess that country is in with its hate and bigotry and legacy of The Wotsit. The actual diary/planner part, which is what I needed, is as expected, with a 2-page month-to-view bit, then with a week's worth at a time over 2 pages, of which 2/3 of a page is blank for additional notes. It feels like the diary/planner aspect of this publication takes a back seat to the abovementioned. What would have been more helpful to me is a few pages covering all the 2022 months in one go, that way I could have dumped a load of things as I remember them, in one place, which likely will include loose papers such as tickets to events, but there are no pockets or pouches for this. 12 pages for each month, with a clear pouch, should have been included at this price range.I think for me, this will be wasted because I'm of a certain age, am happy career wise and am pretty good personally and have a fairly clear vision of the rest of my working and personal life, and needed a simpler diary/planner, full stop. My memory has been affected by the last couple of years and I think a paper diary is going to be more helpful because it's visual, though I will continue to use Alexa and various reminder apps on my phone. I've forgotten events and birthdays these last couple of years, and it felt like time to revert to a more tangible form of reminder. I hope it motivates and helps its intended audience but it comes across as loving itself a tad too much, and as if stuff is being imposed on buyers, whether they like it or not. I think it's overpriced, grossly so. I would not pay more than £9.99 for it if I'd checked it out beforehand and still decided to buy it. It does have an attractive cover, without the logo being on the front page to further put me off. It's not a moleskin cover, which I'd have expected for the £19.99 price, just a quality hardbacked one. Binding is good and the pink colour is inoffensive, but for something that costs this much, and for what its intended use is, a couple of tuck-things-in pouches at the back might have been helpful, like you get in the Busy B range, and also, a piece of elastic that clips onto the front would have allowed important documents to be stored. It's not for me, and a lot will be wasted, but I hope it's good for someone who knowingly wants to buy this, based on the contents. Perhaps an electronic version, similar to an e-book, with a Look Inside feature might help prospective buyers. And perhaps the makers might focus on some Brits for inspirational quotes, if they're aiming this at a Brit audience - just saying.

A little expensive but it's a decent, quality diary for space for added notes...
This 2022 diary comes in a soft pink colour and has a leather feel to it. This is the weekly notes version and includes room for your ideas and goals as well as having a full weekly planner on the other page. It uses good quality paper so if you use a wet ink type pen, it doesn’t easily absorb wet type ink due to the 100sgm paper which also has a nice texture. My wife has never had a diary that has pages for notes and praise and has just had the usual type which just has the days with space for appointments. There seems to be so much space in this diary for you to add your personal ideas and goals that you can set yourself so we may actually get things done if we can tick them off the list. The diary is also pleasing to the eye when you first see it due to it’s soft pink cover with a leathery feel and my wife says that she does feel more organized with using it as she puts everything in it now. She’s very happy with it and she’ll be looking for another one similar next year to replace this one. The price is fairly high for a diary but this feels more of a quality diary than other we’ve had before and with extra space to write other things down and not just dates so we think it’s worth it…

High quality week-to-a-view diary aimed especially at young professionals
This is a high-quality, A5-sized, week-to-a-view diary. It also has a monthly planner spread at the start of each month. The 'clay' version I ordered has a smart, plain, classic look. It has a hard cover with a textured surface. I am not sure it would wipe clean as easily as something with a glossy cover (and don't want to test this!).The paper quality is good. It is slightly off-white and thick enough that writing shouldn't show through on the other side (unless you press really hard). As other reviewers have noted, this is really a diary for people who are focused on success in their careers and lives generally. It is full of inspirational quotes and has plenty of room for recording your goals and what you have been doing to achieve them. As I have just retired, I can't really see myself making very much use of this.Overall, this is a high-quality week-to-a-view diary, which will probably be most appropriate for young, go-getting professionals. But even if you don't buy into all the motivational stuff, it should still serve very well as a standard 2022 diary. Four stars from me.

Are you a procrastinator? Then this is for you.
As a professional procrastinator I was very pleased to receive this goal chart/ diary for 2022.I don’t normally like to set myself new year resolutions but this is one I’m going to try and keep….writing down some short/long term goals and charting my progress as I go….and judging by the way this diary is set out, with lots of encouraging sections, quotes and questions that make you think…I hope this is the product to get me going and to keep me on track….and to stop pontificating/procrastinating and actually do some things, small and big….a small one would be to plan my shopping list when I go food shopping rather than guessing and spending so much money on food I already have, and bigger goals, like some travel and building my savings….I feel that writing my goals down and ticking off my progress is going to be a lot more effective to my progress than scribbling a to do list that gets lost and forgotten about.A lovely goal chart/diary that I can recommend it for any other pontificators out there.
