Great!
Got these last week. Soaked them in a bucket of water for a couple of hours (it doesn't say anywhere to do that, I just always do it with terracotta items). Tested them on some of my flowers and they seem to work just fine. Works with just pouring water into the cone as well as putting a water bottle into the cone (I'd recommend a glass bottle with a longer neck to minimize the risk of it falling over). Think I can comfortably leave for vacation now and am fairly confident I'll be coming home to alive and well watered plants!Only con is that they came in very flaky styrofoam packaging. I understand it can be difficult to ship such a fragile item, but it's 2017, no one should be using styrofoam for anything. When I took it out of the packaging small pieces of it flew everywhere to my cats delight and my horror. Manufacturer, if you're reading this, please consider other packaging options!

Premium watering devices for plants
This is a good product but you have to be careful (others had reviews of breakage problems) with how you place them in the vases. You have to dig a hole with a knife or other like instrument to allow the larger ceramic pouring items to fit without force. Do not dig with the ceramic devices as they may break. These devices hold enough water for about a week using a typical plastic water drinking bottle. Using a larger bottle lengthens the about of time watering obviously. One concern is, depending on the size of the plant (i.e more than one stem), you may have to use two per plant to get the water to all the stems. I tried one and had part of the plant dry out so I added another one and it worked. If you're using this while you're traveling, you may try using a wine bottles (i.e 750ml size) to last several weeks (2)?

Would not recommend at all
These plant stakes attached to a water bottle did not work at all. I tested it even before I left by upending it in just a bottle and only got a few drops in 3 days. I thought maybe it needed to be in soil, but no, after 3 days everything was bone dry. Would not recommend at all.

So far, so good...
I was skeptical at first, but so far so good. We used one in a test plant and the water seems to seep out of the bottle and through the stake at an acceptable rate; the plant is doing fine. It made me realize I've been overwatering our other outdoor plants. The real test will come during a Texas summer when we are away for a week or so.

Cheap
Cheaper quality than I expected. One was broken when I opened the package. Not sure if that is from poor packaging or poor quality product. Interested to see how they build up with usage and weather.

Great for my potted outside plants
I have 10 of these for my plants out front and out back. I use wine bottles they work a lot better than plastic bottles. Originally I got them for when I go on vacation but I use these all summer really helps my plants to grow. You won’t be disappointed they really help.

Very practical and works well
Work surprisingly well for keeping my plants watered when I forget them. Just use a 2 liter soda bottle with each, or a wine bottle as the directions suggest. Suggestion: Put into the pot at the same time you repot the plant; it's a lot easier than trying to shove it into the soil in a root-bound pot.

Satisfied.
reordered this brand when wind turned over a plant and broke my other watering spike. Seems to work well - water does gradually seeps through the stake. Time will tell how well they hold up and how my plants do using them.
