Barnum and the Brooklyn Bridge : Prince, April Jones, Roca, Fran cois: desertcart.in: Books Review: This book was an used as part of a curriculum for young children as an introduction to building a bridge activity. The book is so much more than the just the bridge. They loved the story and were so inspired to complete the activity! Review: I’ve had this book in my classroom for a few years. It’s always a hit with my kindergarten or first grade class. Recently bought it for my 3 year old daughter and she loved it! Pictures and story kept her attention! We’ve read it twice so far! Glad to add it to our home library!

Good book. Beautiful pictures. Can easily be used as history lesson or a stem exercise (ie: build a bridge after reading).

What a charming and beautifully illustrated and true story! I grew up in NY and never knew about this terrific piece of history about the Brooklyn Bridge. I love books that are as much fun to read for adults as it is for kids. Looking forward to April Jones Prince new book!

For the seller, I give 5 Stars. For the book, it is a great story! However, the age appropriateness says 5-7. Most children of this age could not read this book or understand it with vocabulary. Again a GREAT book describing how the bridge was built and tested.
