This does a wonderful job moisturizing my skin after cleansing. It is truly scent free, and super gentle. I’ve not had any reaction to this product and it does well under my moisturizer.

I have oily dehydrated skin so I really love essences in my skincare routine. Most of them are with hyaluronic acid (HA) and I was looking for one that is glycerin based. This essence is very hydrating, absorbs very quickly, doesn't leave sticky residue like the ones with HA. Has no scent. My skin gets sensitive in winter time and gets red easily. The product did not irritate my skin, no additional redness, it helped calm my skin. I will repurchase this product and am also interested in trying more products from this company.

Decided to order this to use with the CeraVe Japanese Intensive Moisturizer. Even though this is just like water, it really works well to help with my dry spots. I just wish it weren’t so watery so that it would be easier to apply.

I wandered across this product accidentally. I never knew the Japanese made a Curel brand. I chose this for its watery properties. I push pump 2-3 times and press gently on my face. I’ve layered my usual moisturizer after it’s absorbed. I noticed a diff in 2 days; Skin was plumped, smooth and moisture felt locked in. No primer needed ladies. Best addition to skin in quit a bit!

Yeah….so I’m in my late 50s and I live in an arid climate. Due to my age and the climate, my previously oily skin has become seriously dehydrated and barrier-compromised despite spending hundreds of dollars on expensive moisturizers and other skin care products. I’ve recently started adding hydrating essences and toners in an Asian beauty-style layering system (yes…this approach really does work!). I’ve tried a few products so far, but this one from Curel has been the absolute best. It’s non-irritating (my skin is also extremely sensitive) and it really has changed the way my other products perform. I saw a reference online that described buttering cold dry toast as a parallel for what happens when you apply a moisturizer to dehydrated skin—it just sits on top and does nothing. If you use an effective hydrating essence or toner first, the outer layers of the skin are more sponge-like and the next round of moisturizers work as designed. I highly recommend this Curel Hydrating Water Essence. (One thing to note on Amazon is that the photo here on the listing is of a different product—a lotion of some sort and that is not what I received in my order. I received the Water Essence).

I have been using this product now for 2 years and I can't live without. It is my first step and I apply before my moisturizers. It is so soothing and calming and gives me a beautiful glow. It is fragrance free and very compatible with my other moisturizers. I used it on my neck and décolletage and my skin is radiant! Thank you!

Meine Haut verträgt die Lotion super. Die Formel ist wässrig und leicht und zieht schnell ein. Ich verwende die Lotion immer vor meiner Hautcreme. Spendt feuchtigkeit und riecht angenehm.

This is fantastic I’ve got the deep moisture spray which I use daily. I saw this online and thought why not give it a try it’s not a spray it’s like a serum toner that you put into your hands and pat onto your skin. It’s really hydrating very gentle and great for sensitive skin. It works nicely along the other products in this range, it’s really good for dehydrated skin tight skin dry skin leaves you with a lovely healthy Glow really good price for this as well on Amazon
