The locking mechanism on my Samsung washing machine seized up closed while the door was open and basically rendered the whole thing useless. After some lots of troubleshooting on google and youtube, I determined that I needed to replace that part and it didn't seem like it would be too difficult. Luckily, it was not difficult at all and once it was all back together, it worked! This part saved me from replacing the entire unit.

I needed a door switch for an older Samsung washer but didn’t want to pay the price for a factory part ($120). So I tried this one, and it works as well as the original. It fit perfectly, was easy to install, and was less than a quarter of the price of the Samsung part. What more could you want?

My front load washer wouldn’t lock. After trying resetting, unplugging, cleaning out lint, etc we decided to watch some YouTube videos on replacing this part. It was really easy and fixed our issue so seamlessly. Door now locks and acts as it should.

Fairly easy to replace the old switch which had one side of coil actuator burned out. There is a video online on how to do this repair.

My washing machine door was no longer latching and remaining closed when I ran a load because the latch mechanism was no longer working. I ordered this part a couple of days ago & it arrived before the expected delivery date. I watched a video to learn how to replace the part and then tried it. I had to unscrew 3 screws, peel back the rubber gasket, and hook up the wiring harness, all of which were easy to do. I’m running a load of laundry now —without having to duct tape the door shut! Perfect replacement part—identical to the original— and prompt service on the part of the supplier. I’ll use this supplier should I need parts in the future.
