However, with practice, I found myself becoming more comfortable and proficient with the tool.Despite these minor flaws, I'm overall pleased with my purchase. This kit has opened up a world of creative possibilities for me, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore the art of pyrography without breaking the bank.

It heats up quick easy to assemble cools fairly quick as well, cord is a bit too short. Has Eu/ uk 3prong plug.. temperature dial is impossible to see or read...hmmm. the stand is OK but don't bump the cord it will fall off of the stand. The little heads are easy to attach. I do woodburning, not soldering but it can be used for small soldering projects. I have had no issues with it staying hot and I have used for a few wooden boxes and christmas ornaments. It works brilliantly for the price, buy it but not for kids at all, I have burnt myself a few good times and I'm 42 yr old. Buy proper gloves if u need em. The pen heats up a bit but if careful you can use without burning yourself. 🔥

This is a new craft so I'm getting used to using it

Bought it as a hot knive to cut some plastic headphone enclosures and it didn't work for that. Wouldn't buy it as a soldering iron either.

Well it's been 9 days since I've tried to get in touch about Pyrography Pen.But still no response, so I've changed my star rating to 0 stars as I'm not happy.I will tell pertential customers to stay away as no response when something goes wrong with item.It should have lasted longer than 6 months. As I have hardly used it.Loved the Pryrography pen, I've used it to burn wood with writing and pictures. It does heat up and gets to hot to hold.But using it today I turned it off to cool down, after a while realised it wasn't cooling down, when I noticed the yellow button wasn't connected.I've only had it 6mths, it was a birthday present in January.So I'm not happy it has only lasted this long.Can I return it.Please respond.

The media could not be loaded. As a small soldering iron this product performs well and is not bad for the price.However, as a wood burning kit for beginners, I think this kit by Tynegaly represents excellent value! Surprisingly, the kit contains at least 55 items all in a handy zip up case.I am not sure why the coloured pencils and sharpener are in there or, for that matter the gloves! The hot iron stand could be better, also a longer cable made from more flexible and heat resisting silicone would be an improvement.It would be nice to have a more comprehensive guide on how to use the various bits and what each piece does, as a complete novice beginner I didn’t have a clue so am having to proceed by trial and error but maybe that’s the fun of it. More serious hobbyists can, I’m sure, find plenty of guides online.Despite these few minor criticisms I still think this is a pretty good kit for beginners, especially when you think you would probably pay a similar price elsewhere just for the soldering iron alone.
