Tastes a LOT like Juicyfruit!
I thought this was "mixed" fruit flavored, as in different fruits, like some are strawberry, some are grape etc. with that in mind, I popped one of the strangely uniform pieces into my mouth only to get yanked back to childhood! It tastes so much like Juicyfruit gum put out by Wrigley's! The flavor comes on strong at first, it's sweet and tastes like a tropical fruit blend(if you don't know what Juicyfruit tastes like) but isn't overwhelming and settles into something softer and sweet . It has rich flavor for about 15 mins then it starts to fade. I have found with fruity gums, the flavor does not have the staying power that mint or cinnamon flavors do. By 30 mins it doesn't have much fruitiness left, but it doesn't taste bad. I have chewed the same single piece for over 3 hours and it never fell apart. Individual pieces are a good size; small enough to tuck in your cheek while talking, and you can add another piece( or two, or three) if you want more flavor 3 pieces feels like the max I would chew while trying to talk. It blows bubble too! It's easier to blow bubbles after you've chewed it for a few minutes, and you can get some pretty good bubbles if you are chewing 3-4 pieces. It does stick to things though. 100 pieces of gum for under $10 is a good deal, especially when it's a quality product. Will buy again, might subscribe in the future once I determine how long 100 pieces lasts me.

Good for dental health.
Good flavor and it has Xylitol.

Good for what I needed, but the flavor does not last
I wanted this gum because studies have shown xylitol reduces tooth decay (see Wikipedia quote below). I put this in my kids' lunch, because they have had some issues with cavities, and despite my begging that they brush at lunch, I am very sure they are not. I take this gum also, and I chew it after my lunch. I know my kids will chew this, even if the flavor doesn't last long, because it's gum- and all gum is better than no gum. On the negatives side, if you are looking for a gum that stays soft and chewy and flavorful for a long time, this isn't it. I like the flavor- it's not bitter like some cinnamon gums, but I can't say it lasts long. I chew it, feel it freshens my breath and may help my teeth, and the pretty quickly, when it starts to taste like unflavored rubber, I spit it out. what follows is from wiki: Xylitol is a "toothfriendly" sugar. In addition to not encouraging tooth decay (by replacing dietary sugars), xylitol may actively aid in repairing minor cavities caused by dental caries.[citation needed] Early studies from Finland in the 1970s found that a group chewing sucrose gum had 2.92 decayed, missing, or filled (dmf) teeth compared to 1.04 in the group chewing xylitol gums. In another study, researchers had mothers chew xylitol gum 3 months after delivery until their children were 2 years old. The researchers found that the xylitol group had "a 70% reduction in caries (dmf)." Recent research confirms a plaque-reducing effect and suggests that the compound, having some chemical properties similar to sucrose, attracts and then "starves" harmful micro-organisms, allowing the mouth to remineralize damaged teeth with less interruption. (However, this same effect also interferes with yeast micro-organisms and others, so xylitol is inappropriate for making yeast-based bread, for instance.) Xylitol based products are allowed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to make the medical claim that they do not promote dental caries.[9]

This gum truly helps clean my teeth
I bought this gum, not because I want to chew gum, but because I had read in several articles and also heard from my dentist that xylitol was beneficial for reducing plaque. I looked into any dangers of xylitol and, though, I have found certain murmurs, have not found anything against it that is condemning to the point where I am convinced that it actually harms one's health in any way at all. And even if any of the murmurs were true and proven beyond doubt, which I cannot see that they are, they would be more than outweighed by xylitol's benefits, the way it improves your health (and I am a former biochemical researcher). Again, the benefits appear to much outweigh any perceived or actual disadvantages. Of course, if you reduce plaque, you affect more parts of your body in important ways than you may actually be aware of. I am a person who eats only organic food and live a very fit lifestyle, and though this gum is not organic, it does have only natural ingredients, so the ingredients were important to me, as well. Please note: not all Spry products have just natural ingredients. In fact, only their spearmint and peppermint flavors are completely natural. For that reason, I steer clear of their other flavors. In any event, the taste is very good, and all my students like it too, as I can afford to give it out, buying it in 600 count quantities :) . You do have to be aware the taste is short-lived, and that is the only reason I give it four stars instead of five. However, the lifespan of flavor is NOT the main reason, nor should it be, that I or anyone should buy or condemn this gum. As I said, I am not a gum chewer. But, since I have been chewing it, my gums ARE healthier. Small pains in certain parts of my gums that appeared and disappeared over the last five years have seemingly disappeared completely. My teeth actually feel immediately smoother after chewing too. The unforeseen added benefit for someone my age, is that, with age, often comes a loosening of jaw muscles, which can lead to dry mouth as it has in me, as the mouth tends to begin hanging open all night long promoting inordinate amounts of mouth breathing, instead of nose breathing, so you get extreme dry mouth, which can result in a massive increase in cavities because saliva dries up and saliva helps to break down plaque, control bacteria - ask your dentist - look it up. Anyway, using my muscles to chew this has also helped to keep my mouth closed again at night, which has led to a HUGE decrease in waking up with dry mouth (of course this benefit comes with chewing any gum lol). Anyway, as you may also know, if you pay attention to the health of your mouth, your heart benefits, as well, from decreased bacterial exposure. These are all the reasons I chew this gum. And because it is a hell of a lot cheaper and less painful and less scary than going to the dentist for any fillings or root canals. Just FYI, I've nothing to do with Spry. I just tried it at Whole Foods one day, and then looked for it in less expensive bulk pricing from someone reputable online. I'm not sorry. :)

Great Flavor, Holds Up Better then Other Xylitol Gums We've tried...
I bought this gum for myself, because I'm trying to work with my son on chewing gum to provide him with a societally acceptable way of oral stemming, and I was blowing through more of his fruit flavored gum that way, and I really prefer mint anyways. We need a gum with xylitol only, because with one of our son's medical conditions, Sotos Syndrome, aspartame can cause seizures. And because he gets into and tries to chew on everything, I prefer to make sure nobody has any products with aspartame in the house. So, I've tried one other brand of mint flavored xylitol gum off of Amazon, and that one was made by Epic dental. I'm going to tell you this stuff by Spry is WAY, way better. Way better. The Epic one had a very harsh, strong taste even to me, and I've got to tell you I used to blow through boxes of Altoids like they were nothin' back when sugar and I were still on more regular speaking terms. The flavor on the spry is definitely very pleasant, and it lasts longer then the Epic dental one did. Typically what I have found is that xylitol gum tends to loose it's flavor quickly. This one does better then the other brands I have tried and the texture stays good...some brands go mushy and mooshy. So, will it last as long as trident? No, the main burst of full flavor is gone in about 10 minutes or so, but there is a bit of a minty after taste that lingers for about half an hour. And that is definitely superior to our experience with Epic, and even with Zellies. And we like the Zellies, the flavor just doesn't last as long as Spry's does. Now, a quick note on Xylitol. I don't have tons of time to read through all of the studies on this, but in general it appears that it can inhibit the growth of the bacteria that causes cavities. Which, given that I just had some cavities filled today...probably isn't a bad thing ;) And it may not be a bad thing for you either. There was some criticism by researchers over seas about the quality of the xylitol studies, but...pretty much everybody including those people agree it's better for your teeth then gums or mints with sugar. So in our house, I'm saying this is a 5 star product. I actually *really* like it a whole lot and totally plan on buying more in the future...

Good flavor
This is a healthier choice for sugar free gum. I like the flavor and it lasts a long time. As someone trying to cut calories, it helps to keep my will power in check.

flavor lasts 10 seconds
Flavor lasts about 10 seconds. Wish is had more longevity. At least my daughter likes the fruit flavor. After a little while this gun gets really sticky. Got this for the xylitol to help prevent cavities but it only has 0.9 g or 1%. Ice breakers gum has more xylitol than this so I'll just go with store bought gum with more flavor.
