What the wiring??!!!
I love this gadget. I did buy it for protection from traffic and I did think there was an alarm on it a well. I installed it and could not figure out how to activate the alarm or simply accepted that it didn't have one. I don't really remember. However, today, sitting inside the Dunkin Donuts, resting, the alarm goes off! What?! That thing doesn't have an alarm. So, I figure it's my regular alarm. So, I shut it off. I still hear it. I sit it off again! Still, I hear it. I assumed it was not my bike (as I'm looking at it through the window). I go back to resting, thinking, I wish someone would shut that alarm off, I'm trying to rest, 😆 . It sounds just like some off alarms. Tens minutes later someone comes in and tells me my alarm is going off. What??! It doesn't have an alarm or I already shut it off, meaning the other one. I go out, and we'll the thing was going off like an alarm, only I didn't know how to shut it off 🤔 I'm pushing the buttons. I'm looking confused 😕. The last thing I try is tipping it forward. It goes off. But now! It just went off again! What the heap??! So, I unplug it, it stops. I must have hit the wire while tipping it. I hope that works for good. It's raining 🌧 I hope this is just a fluke. 🥴🧐

Holy Decibels, This Is Loud!
I'm new to bicycle riding and didn't want those dumb "ding ding" bells. This horn...is scary! It was easy to install but I did have to put a spacer on the inside mount so there is no wiggle on my handlebar. I personally will use the lower decibel "car horn" as its quiter than the 140 decibel alarm/chirp. There is a mode switch on the back of the horn and you press the button to cycle sounds. Trigger was easy and its recommended you coil wrap it around the handle bar towards the top as seen in my pictures. I haven't used it on any pedestrian or car but its nice to have. Again, the 140 decibel mode is no joke. Be sure to face the horn up so the sound goes over the persons ears as mounting the horn upside down will deafen them. Price seems to be on point, too.Do NOT test this in your house or closed garage like I did...

Good, loud horn with only a few drawbacks
After dealing with several inattentive and distracted drivers nearly hitting me on my bike even though I wear bright colored clothing and lights on my bike and helmet, I really wanted something that would get jarring attention. This horn does the trick. I love that it has two settings, one which is a very loud and piecing siren sound, great for traffic, and a lower key sound for paths and trails to get attention of pedestrians without scaring them. The horn mounted easily with no issues. I originally mounted on the left handlebar, but had some convenience issues reaching around my bell. It was no issue remounting on the right handlebar where the activation button could be mounted closer to my grip.I only have a few small gripes. I wish it had a USB-C rechargeable battery so I could easily keep it charged link my headlight and tail light. Talking to a friend who recommended it though, he noted the batteries do not need replacing that often, so it should not be too much of a problem. I also would prefer the activation button and sound change button were a little better integrated. The wires plug in at an awkward position and are not very clean looking. The activation button can be mounted close to a grip but changing the sound is on the back of the horn and not on the activation button which is a little awkward. It would be better to have to activation buttons with different shapes for tactile control. Lastly, I wish there was some mounting adjustment for the angle of the horn. I had to mount the horn on a swept back portion of my handlebar so it does not point straight out. It would be nice if there was an adjustment on the mount to account for that, but in all fairness, I don't think it affects the operation or sound of the horn.Overall it is a good loud horn and it will serve me well.

If you want a loud horn that works great for city riding this is the one.
If you want a loud horn that works great for city riding this is the one. Its easy to install and most importantly can be heard not only by pedestrians buy even by people inside vehicles. The reason for a horn is to let people know you are there and this horn does just that.

Gets the attention of drivers who see bicyclists but act like they don't
Great horn for bicycle commuters. Gets the attention of drivers who rush out of Costco without looking at the oncoming bike lane.

LOUD LOUD LOUD
Only loud in the direction it points. Feel so much safer on the streets on my bike. Anyone walking whiting a block will hear and cars from a really good distance. Batteries haven’t died in 2 weeks

Great horn, but only lasted 6 months
I LOVE this horn and I'm so relieved to have something loud enough that people (especially those in cars) can hear it in a noisy urban environment, especially when I'm going 20mph and they need to be warned at quite a distance. HOWEVER, I bought the first one in Oct. 2024, and it has already had a problem -- basically, the alarm sound went from a "woo-woo-woo" to a buzzer sound, like the clock at a basketball game, which is not nearly as attention-getting. I replaced the batteries, so that wasn't the issue. I like it enough that I bought another one, but for $33 it should last longer than 6 months!

Loud but …..
I have a huge problem on Key Largo of cars not being aware of bikes on the designated bike/walking paths. Even after making eye contact w drivers, they still pull in front of me, cutting me off. This horn is loud and gets the attention of drivers with their windows open. No car with windows closed and probably AC and music on, has reacted in any way when I use this.So slow down at all intersections and wait for a wave from drivers before entering intersections, even though you have the right of way. From an old Driver’s Ed Teacher: Right of way is given, not taken.
