I replaced the 11 mm pads on my “heavy” prescription eyeglasses (Easyclip Turboflex Mod M EC496 metal frames) with these 14 mm push-in pads. These pads are soft silicone and make wearing my glasses comfortable. Although the pads that came with the frame were also silicone, the original pads felt more like hard plastic and made them painful to wear. The larger 14 mm pads also help distribute the weight better without looking too large for the frame. The soft, thicker silicone pads also provide better grip, keeping the glasses from sliding down the nose. I removed the original pads easily with the Dhoptical Eyeglasses Frame Pliers, which I also purchased on Amazon. I was able to press in these nose pads with my thumbs with some determination. Once these pads snap into place, they maintain some natural wiggle room for a comfortable fit and will not fall out.

I bought these to see if I could fix my cheap sunglasses. One of the original nose pieces fell out. These spare parts fit perfectly, and were actually more comfortable than the originals - so I removed the 2nd original piece and put another one of these in. Now my cheap sunglasses feel much better. I would recommend this product. Just make sure to order the correct mounting, as there are a few different types.
