I can’t say whether it’s the Ark Firming Serum or this face cream but it has brightened my skin so that it looks so much clearer and a horizontal wrinkle above my top lip has virtually disappeared for which I’m totally amazed by.

Am well over 70 and this Ark product has proven to be the best yet for moisturising and plumping my skin's texture. Also safe enough to use under the eye. It smells wonderful - fresh rather than heavily perfumed. Have now switched to other Ark products and not disappointed.

I really liked this moisturiser and would have given it more than 3 stars if it weren't for the above issue. I bought the Age Defy cream, based on an article I found online listing the ten best vegan and cruelty-free moisturisers, in which Ark came out really well. The information on the package claims it is 'never tested on animals' and is also vegan. It's lovely and light, smooth (of course) and easy to apply from the pump action pot. It exfoliated my skin a bit, but not to the extent that it was flaking off all over the place, as other creams have done! It's quite expensive though and I didn't like the fact that it came in a plastic pot with a metallic strip around it, making it difficult / impossible to recycle. Despite that drawback, I was thinking of buying it again, however I checked first to see if the company had 'Leaping Bunny certification', through Cruelty-Free International. I was very surprised to see that it doesn't. It may not be tested on animals, but if not, I don't know why they haven't had it accredited as cruelty-free, as I imagine it would be an important criteria for many customers. If they could sort that out and ideally the non recyclable containers too, I would definitely be a repeat customer. However, until they do, I will be shopping elsewhere.

I tried this just and the smell is so horrible, smells like a second hand shop. It is unreturnable so please think twice before purchasing.
