Sensitive Skin and Sensitive Stomach Dog Food Lamb and Oat Meal Formula - 24 lb. Bag

I've been feeding this to my 5 year old, 65-lb German Shepherd with EPI for about 6 months now so I think it's safe to say it's a winner. Because of his condition, it's been a challenge to find a food that truly works for his extra-sensitive digestive system. He had been doing well on the Purina Beyond Lamb for a long while until it was no longer available so I tried to switch to this "sensitive stomach" type in the Salmon flavor. That was a no-go and set his poor tummy on a setback. Thankfully, this version exists because he's been doing fantastic on it. He loves the flavor of this and is always excited for mealtime. I've never had an issue with quality or freshness in any bag I've ordered. I just wish it came in a larger size. The 24 lb lasts us roughly 1 month on 4 cups per day. The feeding instructions for his size suggests 3 cups or less but I found that is not enough to keep him at a healthy weight or satisfy his hunger as an active working dog, so I give him 4 cups.

Product is great, but the shipping was poor. Came via UPS a week late, and the box was badly beat up and tattered. Looked like it had been taped and retaped. Luckily though, the contents were okay. As a prime member, I expected faster shipping. As this is a subscription, if the next delivery is delayed again, I will cancel future deliveries of this item.

My dog got diarrhea for no reason and it turns out that he’s allergic to chicken. Had to switch foods because this one unfortunately there’s Chicken in it.

My girl has been on purina her whole life. So due to a skin allergy that she's been having, i've been trying to find the perfect type of food for her. So I finally switched her to this one, i'm really hoping it works, she really likes the flavor of it as she is not picky. Anyway, but I had switched her to Jinx, and she hasn't been doing good on that food. So I switched her back to purina and found this one, then I did a side by side comparison on which 1 she'd want to eat first, and she ate the purina and didn't touch the Jinx. So I think this Type is a win for her!

This food has been one of the best decisions I have made for my dog. When my dog came to me he was skinny, very itchy, with dry/irritated skin, watery eyes, had poor coat quality, gassy and had lots of loose stools. I knew I needed to find him a great food. I was originally really reluctant to feed him a Purina brand because I had a bias against them. However, folks kept recommending it to me and finally I gave in and tried it for him. I bought the lamb formula because past experience has shown this dog doesn't like fish. Well, he loves this food! And what's more, this food loves him back! His fur has grown back in soft, silky, glossy and a richer black than it was before. He is no longer itchy, no longer has watery eyes, and his skin is smooth and not irritated. His poops are far fewer and firmer than before. Even his gas has been drastically reduced! And that's really saying something for a Bulldog/Boxer cross as usually they are very gassy. All in all this food has done wonders for my dog and he is thriving on it. My only complaint is that it doesn't come available in a larger size!

I have a retriever and a boxer that react to different foods by getting upset digestive systems. They have always been on separate foods which is a nuisance, if you're not watching, they'll cross-feed and get upset stomachs 😕 Not anymore! This proplan dry lamb and oatmeal kibble is loved by both of them, and their stomachs. If and when they get tired of it, I will try the salmon and oatmeal flavour. Vet recommended and dog recommended! 👍👍

I have a dog with sensitive skin and a stomach, I was recommended this brand and she loves it. I did search around for prices and this was by far the best price for this dog food.
