Evenflo Spectrum 2-in-1 Booster Car Seat, Bubbly Blue

In detail: The IHHS top safety pick for both back and backless modes sold me. I was not disappointed: It is well made with polypropylene and tortion ribs that supports the correct directional elasticity for side, front and back impacts. It also has added head side protection. Excellent guides for both shoulder and lap belts to keep the belts where they belong. No need for any third party belt accessories (like that snap on pillow), the seat belts will stay where they belong - at the kid’s lap fold and chest; NEVER at the neck. The belt guides prevent twisting too! My 5 year old loves it and gets comfy in the ample and well-padded seating. Took seconds to put together 3 pieces of plastic and 3 pieces of padding. Has plenty of back height adjustments before needing to graduate to backless mode. The padding pieces can be easily taken out for washing (though the padding material feels very synthetic). Having the cup/snack/toy holders as retractable drawers is genius -especially if you intend on having multiple car seats or boosters for multiple kids. If all this good stuff isn’t enough, I was also pleasantly surprised with the color selection and ability to choose something aesthetic to complement the nice car interior rather than look like an out-of-place cheapo colorful toy look of most other child and baby seats. SOMETHING I NEED TO ADD HERE: I have seen some reviews saying it’s too wide for multiple seats and that the seatbelt guides are problematic -I don’t get any of that at all (and I drive a midsize European sedan so I even have less space than SUV). I also read some ignorant 1-star complaints on not having a LATCH system attachment and the seat moving from side to side and not being attached to anything. Clearly these are parents that are still thinking of a booster as a baby seat. Booster SHOULD NEVER be attached as it only boosts up a child far enough to use the grown up belts. These belts keep the child secured against the booster and the booster against the seat. There would be no sliding if buckled properly. LATCH system is only meant to carry babies and toddlers of combined human and seat weight of under 65 lbs. LATCH is unsafe and illegal for boosters. Keeping a booster latched to them gives parents a false sense of safety and it’s only meant to prevent the booster from sliding when it is unoccupied. Boosters are simpler, easier, lighter and don’t need to be permanently attached. Hooray! Besides, The IIHS has a vested interest (the bottom line of insurance companies!) in making life hell for these manufacturers to increase safety. So their expert crash tests and stamp of approval is a bit more strict than a first time booster user. Do the homework on their website. Love this car seat. Love how it is multi functional. Used this for years until she grew out of it. Easy to put together, easy to clean, loved the cup holders

I love this seat and my boys do too! We prefer it over the Graco Turbobooster we have in our other vehicle. 1. Assembly was SO easy. Far simpler than the Graco. 2. Installation took no time at all. It fits securely in my Hyundai Tuscan. 3. The adjustable head set is HIGH. For our Graco, it had to be at a high setting right off the bat. They've been in the Evenflo Sureride DLX in both vehicles for years. Adjusting from full coverage all around, to suddenly their backs were surrounded was a bit hard for me to swallow. The Spectrum is tall enough where it only had to go up 1 level to be a secure fit. My babies are surrounded and comfortable in starting this new phase and that makes us all happy. 4. It's so soft and cushioned!! The most padded seat I've found. My boy's boney butt is appreciative. 5. It has a sleak, modern design that's really pleasing to the eye. 6. It's rollover tested. Not a required test for child safety seats. It shows the commitment EvenFlo has towards its consumers and their most precious people. It's a quality I've come to love and expect. As for my kids, their favorite features are 1. the bright, bold color. They've always wanted a BRIGHT blue seat. Dream accomplished! 2. The side compartments. They're a bit of a pain to open at first but after some use, they're easier to open and close. They love that there's one on each side so they can "hide" their small toys. The cost of this seat is amazing considering the quality. It's a fantastic choice when considering boosters. Highly recommend

Good carseat easy to assemble and adjust I did find it was slightly more difficult getting the strap through the shoulder loop on the seat but wasn't extremely hard the seat itself is fairly comfortable and has butt padding but my daughter didnt like how the sides on the bottom curl in. She said sometimes they get uncomfortable. But that she also likes putting her arms on them. Wouldnt reccomend this seat for thicker children due to this. But if there is a way to take them off that I dont know about without compromising the seat then I would say this is 5 stars all around 🤷‍♀️

I got free shipping, expected it to arrive in a week. It arrived the next day instead. I've never had something arrive so quickly, and I've purchased frequently from Amazon. The carseat was easy to assemble. I'd recommend reading the booklet anyways to ensure you're doing it properly (for safety). My girl was so excited when she saw the carseat, and it compliments my backseats well. I love the color options. I didn't expect to find a carseat that could be both girly and still compliment my dad car. The black fading into pink is a nice modern touch. The car seat looks safe and offers side protection. This carseat takes up less width than other options, with the retractable cupholders and still remains comfortable - which is what I wanted to still keep the middle seat an option. The seatbelts feeds easily through and feels snug and secure when you've fed the seatbelt strap into its locking mode. I'm happy with this carseat. You can look at base measurements below to see how it will fit in your car. My backseats have recessed grooves for comfort and the carseat perfectly fits them for extra security by essentially sitting in the recess like a puzzle piece. I intentionally looked at dimensions to make sure I didn't buy a carseat that was too wide that it would sit over the recess instead of inside of it.

Esta silla es muy buena en acabados, protección y estilo. El único inconveniente es que no es reclinable pero si lo compras sabiendo esto desde el inicio, complementas con una dona o algo que detenga la cabeza cuando se quedan dormidos. Pd. Está silla es para niños mayores de 3 años. No necesitas un súper cinturón de miles de puntos pues va bastante seguro con el propio cinturón del asiento y para eso va diseñado. Tiene un ajustador de altura y va muy cómodo.

A mi hijo le encanto, es muy comoda y de excelentes materiales, el diseño es diferente a todas y tiene protectores de cabeza laterales que ayudan muy bien al momento de dormir.

Esta muy bueno y nos encantó lo fácil que se instala. Ojo es un booster que no tiene fijación por si mismo ya que eso te lo brinda el cinturón de seguridad del vehículo. Excelente producto!

Un asiento estético, pero funcional. Se amolda muy bien a cualquier vehículo (lo probé en 3 diferentes). A diferencia de otros, no es voluminoso ni pesado, los niños ocupan solamente el espacio de una persona adulta en el auto. Es cómodo, y lo mejor es que es desmontable. Sólo me hubiera gustado que estuviera un poco más acolchado de la parte de abajo, pero en general me agradó bastante

Es sólido y versatil a la vez, sin costar lo de productos parecidos. Me gusta mucho y también mi hijo le gusta mucho.
