Poor Audio Quality
First, the mic worked at least out to 50 feet or so. Just make sure the main unit is fully plugged into the lightning port of your iPhone. My poor review is due to the absolutely awful quality of recorded audio with this mic. It makes the speaker's voice sound like they are talking into a tin bucket. I suspect the noise cancelling software is just too aggressive. I wish there was an option to turn it off. Many times a little ambient noise in the background is OK or even desired. As it it, recorded voice sounds unnatural and robotic. This won't work for me. Sigh... It was sooo easy to use.

Excellent quality, very lightweight
The sound is very clear and crisp, this device will make your voice sound even better than if you were talking right into your phone. If you’re recording a tutorial or even teaching a class you can be speaking tens of feet away from your phone and still get the exact same quality of sound in your recordings. The device is very smooth looking, the clip is strong so it won’t slip off your clothes and it has LED indicators letting you know when it’s active. Also, you can still charge your phone while the receiver of the microphone is plugged into your phone so it’s very practical in design, taking in consideration how long it takes to record a good video.Give this wonderful device a try! You won’t regret it

Impressive for the price! Easy to use!
So, I have to be honest - the first one I received did not work properly. My phone recognized the receiver when it was plugged in, but for some reason I couldn't get the transmitter to connect and my phone would just default to the built-in mic. However, the company was super quick and helpful in getting a replacement! When I received the replacement, I was happy. It was plug and play, just as it says in the description! Plugged the receiver into my phone's lightning port, turned on the transmitter, and it worked perfectly! Here are my observations so far:1) Good size/weight. The downside to a wireless lavalier mic is having to fit all the electronics into the transmitter, which can make it bulky and heavy. JSSEVN seems to have struck a good balance. The transmitter is nearly 2.5 inches long, so you will definitely see it. But it's not overly obtrusive.2) Easy to use. Couldn't be any more simplistic than plug it in and turn it on...3) Decent build quality. Of course, almost everything is plastic these days. That said, this doesn't feel overly cheap or poor quality. It's definitely not a top of the line, but should hold up great for most general use. It comes with an extra transmitter clip in case one breaks. It also has a handy storage bag if you don't want to keep it in the foam lined box. A short USB A to C cord is included for charging the transmitter.4) Sound is decent. The included wind screen does a good job at minimizing the sound from light breezes. The mic is tuned a bit toward the bass/mid range side of things, but still carries decent clarity. For most bloggers/vloggers who simply want to unchain from a wired setup, this will be a good option at a good price point.

Great package but…
Maybe it was just the one I got, but this mic sounds no where as good as the wired lapel mics I used before. It had the tunnel sounding echo common to many wireless headphones I have used such as the qc35 or xm3. Even the iPhone internal mic sound quality (of my voice) is better. That being said, this item is very well packaged, includes spare clips and windscreens, and seems well built compared to the competition. If sound quality does not matter, I would recommend it. The fact that you do not get tangled around a wire is also a huge plus for some people.
