I got a bread maker for Christmas and I’ve been making bread almost every day since. I was very worried about freshness and keeping mold away because I live in a humid tropical climate. Store bought bread starts getting moldy within 3 days in their plastic if they’re sitting on the counter. Well, these wraps work! I really want my family to greatly reduce ultraprocessed foods and the plastic wraps they come in, and these wraps keep the bread mold-free AND soft like the day it was baked. The wraps are super easy to use, smell really nice, easy to clean with just a rinse (we use these only for homemade bread), and plenty large enough to fit a whole 2lb loaf. A few tips: 1. Let your bread cool COMPLETELY after baking. I usually wait over an hour, til the crust is COOL - not warm - COOL to the touch. 2. I slice up the bread and let them sit flat on a cooling rack to let any residual heat/moisture escape. Not sure how long, I usually go off and do something and then come back to it maybe 20-30 minutes later. 3. Stand the bread slices upright and make sure they fit back together right before wrapping. This keeps the crumb as moist as it needs to be while wrapped. 4. I wrap both ends, but unwrap only one end every time I need a slice just to make it easier to rewrap. I also grab slices from the middle and save the ends for last. 5. I keep them in a closed pantry in the kitchen, away from any heat sources or moisture. Definitely don’t keep it out on the counter next to the stove/air fryer/toaster/dishawasher/etc. So far, my French bread has lasted 3 days, and my wheat/milk breads have lasted 4 days. The only reason I can’t vouch for longer than that is because my family eats it up by them. Although, based on the freshness up to the very last slice, I’m sure the bread is capable of lasting at least a couple more days beyond that. I will recommend these to everyone I know who bakes at home and will likely buy a few more for myself as I get more comfortable baking.

I love Bee’s Wrap for all of my breads and pastries! I didn’t want to wrap my bread in toxic plastic bags, so when I came across Bee’s Wraps it was exactly what I was looking for. It keeps my food fresher, the quality of the material is over the top, it just needs the warmth of my hands to seal anything that I store in it, and it’s so easy to clean. I would highly recommend this product, it does what it says and more. Would purchase again.

I've read about these wraps for years but never bought into it but after years of baking sourdough and only truly enjoying it the first day I decided to give the Beeswax Wraps a try and now can say how I REGRET not getting one before! The crust and texture of my homemade sourdough bread is perfect from beginning to end of the entire loaf! Prior to using the Beeswax Wrap the entire loaf would get soggy when stored in a plastic bag and too crusty if it got left on the counter. Since using my first Beeswax Wrap, I've ordered several more for friends how purchase my sourdough breads from me so they can enjoy their entire loaf too. I highly recommend these Beeswax Wraps!!
