The carrier by itself works fine. We bought a large for our 12 pound shih tzu and he fits in it perfectly. The tail cut out is great and the zippers make loading and unloading very easy. The problem we have is with the straps. They have great adjustability, but they really (REALLY) need padding (even for our little guy). I suggest buying pads for your shoulders before trying any kind of lengthy hike or you'll be very uncomfortable. If they fixed this design flaw, the unit would be great.

I ordered a large cuz people said it ran super small. I have a poodle mix that's 9pounds. And the large has a lot of extra room. If she was 15 or 20 pounds it'd fit perfectly. But she's 9 and it's loose...

Fantastic addition to my puppy's gadgets - I spent many summer days carrying my puppy in this holder while riding my bike at the beach. We made quite a scene, and she had a blast in it while being so close to me!

Nice product-the dog tolerates it. These run al little small. The large just fits my 10lb Rat Terrier.

Product appeared to be great and I believe I would have liked it. However, the size options did not work for my puppy. The large was still too big and the medium was too small. If I go by measurement chart I should use extra large which was way too large.

It seems quality and holds my little one well. It is for very small dogs or cats.

I love this doggie back pack and so does my pup anything to be closer to her momma.
