I bought these mainly for the smoke detectors I have around the house. For low-power stuff, they work just fine, no issues so far. They’re definitely more affordable than other name brands, which is great if you need a bunch at once. Just keep in mind these are zinc carbon, not alkaline or lithium, so they’re not meant for high-drain devices. I wouldn’t use them in anything that needs a ton of power or constant use. They came well packaged, none were leaking, and I appreciate that they’re made without toxic stuff like mercury or lead. Good deal for backup or light use, but probably not your go-to for heavy-duty gadgets.

Old school batteries, the old Eveready Carbon type.. not Alkaline. I use these for guitar pedals like fuzz boxes and vintage pedals, supposedly they sound better ? I doubt it, but they’re cheap and they seem to work well, no issues with them at all

Good value and price for these. Always good to buy every now and then. Have no complaints with them. Use for detectors and they seem to last for a good while.

I have a larger home with 12 different Smoke detectors. I change my batteries each year before they start chirping to make me aware the voltage is dropping on the used batteries. I check these batteries for voltage before installing in the smoke alarms and found they had slightly more c=voltage than the big name batteries. I am giving these batteries a trial but feel they should meet my needs and to save me some money. Will post a review after my first year of service. I picked up a package, used 1 in my tool rest on the shelf. while the tool worked fine for a normal life span eventually it died. go to replace it with one of the spares, 0 response. 1st thoughts were I broke the tool, reversed the polarity, simple stuff. nope, finally tested the replacement that I broke the seal on, dead. so the 3 year thing is a lie. thankfully there's a big box store around the corner from me but if I was out on site without that ability, I'd be pissed. I don't get name brand on everything but I'd rather spend a few extra bucks to know I have things ready including my replacements. overall, saving a few dollars was not worth it making this choice

It's a long-lasting battery, great for smoke detectors, with a great price and good quality.

It seems like every smoke detector in my home went out at the same time and this is exactly what I needed. Worth the price.
