Perfect...Made Well And Great Price..
These are just what I was looking for...I have several pairs of the same kind of reading glasses in the house and they all have stems on them that irritate my ears....I like the glasses I have for they are well made and have glass lenses, which I prefer...But unfortunately they have these thin, sharp stems around the temple area that I find is something noticeable in even very expensive glasses. I actually took to wearing them tipped forward so the stems would sit off my ears for the irritation would sometimes get so bad. When I first started looking at these kind of protectors here on Amazon, I was surprised at how expensive they were. $7 even $8 for a single set...These were 3 sets for around the same price and I decided on them for the reasonable cost, and overall favorable reviews...Although some people have spoke of having to cut them to make them fit, for me, they are perfect just the way they are. Although the opening on them is very small, it is also a very flexible silicone that I had no problem getting going installing them. After you get them started it is a cinch to squeeze them and move them into position. They neither slip when removing the glasses, nor move in any way once on. As for their comfort, they are perfect protection as to the irritation I was experiencing.. Just what I wanted right where I needed it. And with three in the set, I can buy more and outfit all my glasses at a very fair price...In conclusion, glasses can vary greatly in thickness and design as to the stems around the temple area. It may be that you may not be fortunate enough to have these fit right over them perfectly like on mine. But it is a problem easily alleviated by just snipping off what you don't need as others here have done. Even with just a small amount of these fitted they make a big difference in comfort around your ears. I have no idea how long they will last but it should be a very acceptable amount of time considering they don't get irritated much in anyway, plus, they are priced so reasonably that having a few of them handy around at any time shouldn't be a problem.. They are one of the best deals offered in this area and I highly recommend them...

Did not receive item pictured
The items I received were not the items pictured in the listing. They also did not match any of the pictures listed in the reviews. The replacement tips I ordered were clear, the items I received were frosted clear/white. The pictures in the reviews show these tips being used on regular size glasses and not wire tips. The items I received would not fit regular glasses tips and are only meant for wire tips. And of course, I waited too long and cannot return these. If you are trying to put replacement tips on wire frames, thes items I received would work, but I'm really disappointed that the item was switched because what I received is not the item pictured in the listing. I'd be happy to update my review if the correct product is provided.

Prevented murder, restored family harmony
Once upon a midday dreary, while I studied, weak and weary,Over many a quaint and curious volume of legal lore,While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a chewing,As of some dog gently eating, eating at my glasses' frames."Tis some dream," I muttered, "chewing on my glasses""Only this, and nothing more."Yeah, so that wasn't a dream. My dog decided that when I passed out face-first in a casebook, it was the perfect opportunity to ruin the earpieces of my brand new glasses. Considering my income (negative), debt (large), vision insurance (paltry), and impending finals (scary), I was pretty much beside myself. Note to the wise: you will find the true meaning of forgiveness not in any religious or philosophic treatise, but in raising a very naughty puppy.Metal frames exposed on one side and the plastic chewed into an incoherent nightmare on the other, I took to Amazon (as usual) to solve my problems. Two days later and $9 dollars poorer, I filed down the edges with a metal file and slipped the plastic on. Now my glasses are salvaged. Although that does not solve the problem of my naughty puppy or impending law finals, it did restore family harmony (my spouse was not happy at the prospect of spending $200 on new frames to correct puppy's mischievous ways) and prevented a murder (of my dog, bless her stupid little heart).

Works for what I needed
I recently began needing to wear my glasses full time. My new pair was leaving bumps and sores behind my ears. My eye doctor recommended I find something like this product to try out.To my surprise slipping these over the ear pieces of my glasses provided the cushion and buffer I needed to help my head heal and allow me to wear my glasses without any pain or discomfort.I don’t love how they look. Mine are “clear” but more greyish, which really stands out against my blue frames. They do show even when my glasses are on, which is slightly bothersome. Also they seem to slide off my frame ever so slightly. This isn’t anywhere near enough that they would fall off. It’s far less than an inch even. I only mention it because it’s become annoying to continually push my glasses back down into them. (Maybe they are just stretching out and I need to change them?)Overall I would buy the product again to save my head and allow me to wear my glasses pain free, however I’m not super in love with the asthetics or functionality of them staying in place.

This is laughable. You see in the photo she show an eyeglass temple with a consistent width. When is the last time you saw this in real life? The truth is most temples become wider near the end. What that means is you can not slide the temple into the end of the silicone sleeve. I have tried a few drops of dish soap as well as some mineral oil. It ain't going in. I ended up trimming the silicone sleeve down far enough to allow the temple to slide in but due to the design its not a loose fit and once again useless. These are a complete waste of money for any typical eyeglass teemple design. A complete waste. Money flushed down the drain,
