OXO Good Grips 3-Piece Peeler Set - Green/Orange/Red, 10-inch

Well made peelers. Sharp, easy to clean, and comfortable grip. They work great peeling fruit or vegetables, making Zoodles, or Orange peels for my Old Fashion. I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for new peelers.

Until I bought this set, I didn't know there were different peelers for hard and soft vegetables and fruits. Now I have the perfect peeler no matter what. I use the green peeler the most because it's the one for hard vegetables like cucumbers, carrots, and potatoes. All the peelers come with a plastic guard so the cutting surface won't get damaged in shipment. The peelers are sturdy, sharper and make easy, clean cuts to peel without taking excess food material. I expect many years of reliable use from these peelers. I love that they are color coded for easy identification of the proper peeler for the job. I have quite a few OXO products and love the soft grips that allow many minutes of comfortable use. I would say hours of use but I haven't had the need to use any of the peelers that long.

OMG, these tools are AMAZING. They are super sharp. They work perfectly. I use them EVERY DAY. Julienning veggies is a breeze with the the julienne peeler. The peeler for thin fruits and veggies like tomatoes and plums works like a dream. So does the one for thicker peels. All are super sharp and really ergonomic. They feel great in the hand. I am grateful every time I use these. I do a lot of cooking and canning. These have made my life a LOT easier. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended. I've had many peelers over my lifetime--none even close to these in quality.

Great value and well made. They are much sharper than I thought they would be. I recomend keeping the covers, that came with them, to prevent cutting yourself when you pull them out of your over-packed cooking utensils drawer ( It’s OK, all of us home chefs have a drawer like that ). I especially like the wide string peeler as it is great for making carrot/cucumber strings for a salad or hash brown strings.

You just never want to get rid of the old ones, they rattle, they're rusty, they're dirty, they're ugly, and they hurt the hands of those with hurt hands. THESE ONE'S ARE ALL I'LL EVER NEED, AND MY DARLING LOVES THEM. I hate repeating the obvious but they are sharp baby, and boy do they remove the peels without digging into any of the fruits or vegetables we use. I love the handles, I love the swivel and I love the potato eyer. Peeling everything we have around here, I find myself wanting to buy perhaps another set just incase something happens to this one, but we'll see. They work on so many things and I could go through them all, but I'm sure all the reviews are enough and you're wanting to either eat something or buy this thing. Have a carrot and peel it first with this one, you'll notice you'll have the urge to actually throw the older peelers away. Everyone's scared to do that, and I can understand, but you should because they're just taking up space. Everyone should have these 3 in their home, or work place, or lunch box.. OXO makes durable, good quality kitchen utensils. I own several OXO items, which seem to hold up very well. The veggie julienne peelers are VERY SHARP but come with plastic guards. However, when using the peelers and the guards are off, be mindful of the position of your fingers. This is my first experience using a julienne peeler. Sometimes it seems like the teeth grab a bit, so I have to pull harder. Also, I'm not able to peel the entire length of the carrot, or whatever I'm peeling since I need to grab on to the end of the carrot, so I can pull against it with the peeler. In addition, at the place where I start peeling (near the top of the carrot) the julienne strands are still connected, so I have to pull the stands apart with my fingers. They pull apart easily, but it would be nice if I could eliminate that step. As I said, I'm new to using the julienne peeler. All in all, I would recommend OXO products because they're well made, long-lasting, and easy to clean.

I have bought this set twice and really love it. I have had some issues with the orange coloured peeler, swivel broke one one. Green and red peelers are fine though and the red one really does an excellent job with the soft fruits and vegies. The blades on these peelers are nice and sharp. Handles are comfortable and they are easy to clean.

Non confrontabile con altre marche. Avevo comprato solo il modello singolo - è stato buttato per sbaglio. Per quasi lo stesso prezzo ne prendi tre. Attenzione a lo strumento per fare la verdura a "julienne" - è molto tagliente!

Los utilizo todo el tiempo, sobretodo el verde y el rojo que es para los tomates. Y su diseño es totalmente ergonómico para no tener que hacer demasiado esfuerzo y no se te canse la mano.

O produto é realmente de qualidade, porém enviaram o descascador de juliene sem a proteção de plástico para guardá-lo em segurança.

Comme quoi ça vaut le coup de dépenser un peu plus pour de bons produits ! Ces éplucheurs sont très efficaces. Ils coupent bien et permettent de les tenir fermement en place quand on travaille les légumes. Je suis surtout agréablement surprise de l'éplucheur julienne. J'arrive enfin à faire des choses super, inespérées, pour créer des plats magnifiques !
