Great tool!
Given the price tag of (currently) £50, I didn't expect too much from this router, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a great little tool, very easy to setup and use. I have had a plunge router for many years and thought that was better than one like this, but I was very wrong.I've only used a few of the included bits, but they all worked perfectly and the router itself performed without any issues. My only two issues (which affect a number of routers, not just this one) are:Stability - The router has a very small footprint and when edging a piece of wood, the router can rock (as can any without a supportive base or jig).Power on/off - I'm not sure if this is a feature with all hand routers (I've see it on several) is that there is no on/off trigger. There is a power switch and once it's on, it stays on until you physically switch it off again. If you put the router down and it's still on, you have an exposed spinning blade that won't stop!I would prefer a little button or trigger that you press and hold to engage the router as a safety feature. Again, these two issues aren't specific to this router, so don't necessarily let them dissuade you from purchasing what is otherwise a nice little piece of kit.

Great palm router
Bought it at last Christmas (2024) but only now a project has come up where I have needed it, so finally opened it. Mine wasnt supplied with the spanners to release the collet which made it quite a ruckus to put the bits in. Hence the 4 star instead of 5 star. Other than that, it worked flawlessly and feels very sturdy and well balanced. Used it to round over the edges on a home made bench, speed options where great, no smouldering, felt like a nice weight in my hands, no too big and not to small, actually "just right". For the price, I'm very impressed.

Great little trim router
Took delivery, opened the box and used with the 45° chamfer bit straight away for a project that I’m doing.Easy to use, good selection of cheap router bits (I have others for when they break) and parts that come with it.Time will tell if it lasts but so far it’s been great.

Fantastic router.
Got this to do a specific job with paneling trim and what a fantastic machine. It performed excellently out of the box and if you watch a few YouTube videos you will quickybe able to make a router table with this and double or triple it's use purposes. Fantastic value and will definitely replace with a other one of it breaks but I don't see that happening any time soon

Handy tool
The tool itself is quite handy for doing fiddly cuts and the depth gauge is better than the one on my larger router. The face plate on mine was quite rough though and it left deep grooves on the surface of the ikea wardrobe I was trimming. I've sanded the plate so it only leaves minor grooves now but have to put masking tape around the area to be cut to protect it.

Nice little tool
After reading all the reviews, I decided to get this as it was cheap enough and I just needed something quickly to be able to finish my little project.I read the reviews about the bits that were not good quality but , although they are not the best, they suited me for my soft wood project just fine. You HAVE to connect it to a dust extractor as if you don't ( realised I didn't after a while and immediately regretted it ),the dust will go everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE...So.... once it's connected to a dust extractor I had no issues using it and I'd say it seems of solid build. My only gripe with this product is that if you use it for anything that doesn't require a guide ( like I did ) you can not see where you are going unless you shine a light through the plastic from the dust extractor.Apart for that, it is a good tools and the bits , so far, have been useful and strong enough.Nice little tool which I do recommend , although it's early days and don't know how long it will last.I'm not saying it would be for trade , but definitely for a DIYer for occasional use.
