DIMPLEX NORTH AMERICA LC6025W31 2500W 60" Base Heater, White

Replaced a 2000 watt King that was too noisy to sleep in the room.The Dimplex has yet to make any sound besides the tiny very quiet clunk when it first starts. Heats up fast and puts out a lot of heat. Shorter length is great saving wall space. Comes with wall spacers that are great for keeping the wall from getting to hot. Had to replace one of the end cap screws with an over size , it was stripped out. It also has a nice clean look.

After the initial installation, the heater was immediately put into service for an operational inspection. The unit did quickly produce a significant amount of heat but also heated the wall directly above to a point where I could not hold my hand against it. In about ten minutes the wall above for approximately three feet was so hot that the unit was taken out of service. The included installation information suggests clearances to possible flammable materials ie. drapery and furniture to be as little as three inches but would sustain a dangerous amount of heat from this installation. During operation the covers for the unit also became so hot as to cause a burn if touched and therefore would not be safe for use around small children. I would not recommend this heater unless there are additional precautions taken during installation to protect walls and nearby flammable materials.

These heaters are perfect , we have all electric heat in our house and live in eastern Pa where when it's cold, it's cold, we also live in a house built in 1901 so it has no insulation and plaster walls. The heaters we had prior to this we bout 8 years ago from "the blue big box " home improvement store and they were just ok... our electric bill was ultra expensive ( over $475 a month ) and out house was still just 60 ... we replaced them with these heaters and the matching thermostats and there was a huge difference .. we keep ours set at 65 and our house is exactly 65 and our electric bill went down to $250 a month ... not only do these heaters save space with the smaller foot print and look nicer but they do save money, we have had these running 24/7 all winter long ( we bought these and installed them Oct 2018 and it is now March 2019 ) and have had no issues with these or the Dimplex thermostats we bought for these

We live in Montana. We bought these last winter, but didn't get them installed until sometime later. When we went to use them this winter, they worked great! BUT only for a couple of weeks. They completely stopped working. We had an electrician out, again, and there is "nothing wrong" with them, but they don't heat. It sucks to have the kids' rooms be cold because of a crappy product. I wouldn't recommend this unit.

It heats up the room really fast. It puts out a ton of heat. Don't leave anything on this thing or you'll have a fire. When I come out of the cold I stand above it and it ruffles me sleeves.

This is an efficient and well-designed heater. It has the vents at the top of the unit which provide better convection.

The baseboard heater works perfectly!!

I installed it in ten minutes. Works well. Nice small form factor. Puts out a lot of heat.

Came dented, box damaged. Wouldn’t buy again, support your local businesses.
