I like the small size
I would have given this a 4 simply because I prefer glass, but that would be unfair. Rating this product by its description I give it a 5 because it is what it says. I like the small size, and I purchased this for my office so that I can make single cups. It works great, I had no issue with the seller or shipping. I would also like to add that it pours much faster than the glass one I have for home, which I find pleasing because if I have successfully made it to work without my coffee, I will need it fast. There is no plastic flavor at all, which I was very happy with also, and why I was hesitant to purchase this in the first place-it also fits over all of the cups I have. Overall, this purchase has been a great experience and I am happy with the product.

Size one is nice for travel or single cup
Very sturdy. Size 1 is great for travel, if you're making one cup at a time. Very easy to pack. Takes up about the same room as the AeroPress Go.If you are going to travel and fill a larger travel mug or thermos, go with Size 2.This is my first V60 and I'm very impressed with the difference, versus a Melitta drip cone. I don't hate my Melitta, but the V60 does give you more control. When you vary the pour or grind, it is more noticeable with the V60.

Works very well, with the right filters.
This little pour over works flawlessly for me using an 18:1 ratio of water/coffee, a slightly coarse grind, and a 3 minute brew time. It produces great flavor without over extraction. The folks that complain about the filter breaking aren't using the right filter! You have to use pointed bottom cone filters. This manufacturer sells them. The flat bottom filters (often used with Melitas) will not work with this.

Good choice for camping
I also posted a review of the filters that go with this dripper, and mentioned the use of the filter and this dripper together as a good choice for camping. Together, this is a lightweight and easy way to make a good cup of coffee while camping (and even backpacking if you don't mind the space the dripper takes up in your pack).I'm not able to compare the taste to similar drippers that use a slightly different shape...but coffee made with this system tastes good, is easy to make, and comes at a low cost (although they get you on the filters a bit). You can get really nerdy on exactly how you pour the water with these drippers, and I've tried that. However, you need to be a little less nerdy while backpacking and not bringing a vessel that allows you to accurately pour hot water in a specific pattern. Guess what, coffee nerds? The coffee tasted great even when I didn't use a perfect pour pattern or take the exact 3 minutes to do all of the pouring.

Better than ceramic
I started with the ceramic version of this dripper Hario V60 dripper. And the comments are true, it extracts the heat from the water, which significantly effects the coffee flavor extraction. I also tried preheating the ceramic dripper, but giving this plastic version a try, I’m sold. The plastic version makes far better tasting coffee, and you don’t have to worry about chipping or breakage. It’s not even an issue of being far less costly, it’s just better.

Perfect size for camping
I have a ceramic VO2 for home use and love it. I saw this smaller VO1 plastic version in red and thought this would be perfect for brewing coffee when camping. I was right. It’s a perfect size to fit perfectly in our teardrop camper. It brews great coffee one cup at a time. I noticed no plastic taste in the coffee.
