When I bought this hot pot, I felt it was a bit of a gamble. The reviews were everywhere on this product and I could not determine which ones to trust.The product I received was exactly as the one pictured on the site. I have done two hot pots with this, using an induction burner for the heat source, and each time one side used a clear broth and the other a spicy broth. The divider held up well, there was no leaking of the broth between the compartments.While the product itself feels a little flimsy, it has been very sturdy and worked perfectly for what we needed.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hot pot then this one serves the purpose. Nothing fancy and not of very high quality. Quite thin all over but without it being too thick heating up is quicker. Separator allows you to have 2 variants of soup in one hot pot. Comes with glass cover. Overall, good value. Will recommend if you are not willing to spend too much on a hot pot.

This pot is both good and bad and its really hard to give this a bad review when I have already enjoyed a few really good meals with it. A few things to note, the pot isn't a very well made pot, the metal is very thin, and the divider is very flimsy and will slightly leak to the other side. The size of the pot is what you would typically expect for a hot pot set and the lid definitely comes in handy. I would say that this pot is a decent low end hot pot, but I am personally keeping my eye out for a well made pot for when this one breaks.

This is a very functional and well made pot. It works well with my induction cooktop, which was my biggest uncertainty prior to buying the pot. Yes it's thin steel, but all induction style hot pots I've seen seem to be constructed that way. For its purpose, I think it's a great product and an excellent value.

Fabulous pot. Solid, attention to detail noticeable in both production and careful finishing. No rough or unpolished areas, excellent close fitting lid and lid knob attachment very sturdy with silicone seal on fastener. Very pleased. While this pot is designed for Shabu shabu, we have limited cooktop area and use it for cooking two side dishes at one time. Very efficient! Ordering more.

I think other reviewers had different experiences based on who they purchased it from. I bought directly from Amazon, and the product was precisely as pictured. Yes, it's thin metal, but compared to the heavy, cast-iron Dutch Oven I was using on our induction tabletop unit, it heated up water much faster, which is what you want. The divider worked fine, as did the lid. It may warp or give after a while, but for this cost, I wouldn't object.And, yes, despite a magnet only weakly sticking to it, it worked *just fine* on our induction unit.

I bought this hotpot for an induction stove and it works fine. The metal material is on the thinner side compared to more heavy duty pots. And the included spoons are very then metal. But it's a great price for the not so occasional hotpot meal.
