I'm always bumping my head when I rotate my car tires and when I work in the attic. This is a light, unobtrusive cap that fits tight and protects my head. I bought the one with the short brim. It works great as long as I remember to wear it!

I had a stroke 3 years ago and so my wife worries about me banging my head on things. I work in crawlspace and attic spaces daily, so I bump my head a lot. I needed something lightweight, durable, unobtrusive, and just enough protection to not give myself a concussion. This hat provides all of the above. I got the shortest bill I could for maximum visibility. Other than that it looks and feels like I'm wearing just a baseball cap. I often forget I have it on and walk into the store with it on. I still hit my head several times a week, but no more scratches, gouges, or headaches from joists. Will this replace a hardhat on a job site? No. Will it keep you from giving yourself a concussion on low hanging joists, beams, etc. Definitely! I've told my employees they can have them if they want them. 100% recommend.

I crawl crawlspace a for work and love this!!!! I got the shortest bill and trimmed in down because of bills block vision when crawling. But hey it works and comfy and strong. It would be cool if they sold a no bill style but this is perfectly fine!

I bought this for use at home when working under my automobile lift. The protection will be adequate to prevent cuts from beams and protruding bolts while moving about under a car. The short brim aids in visibility vs. my baseball cap. (I can see the dangling tires before I bump into them!) Bonus: It fits my 24-1/2" head without feeling tight. The only detraction is the flimsy nylon/polyester skin over the protective skull cap; it's perfectly adequate, but not premium.
