GREAT! also...FIT GUIDE 4 “HALF SIZER”
Amazing!!!!FIT GUIDE FOR “HALF SIZERS”I usually wear a size 10.5 but (Chaco) doesn’t have half sizes so I had to go try some on to get an idea of what I needed before I bought them cheaper on amazon.... Anyways, I got a size 10 because these run a quarter/half size bigger....also I usually like my tennis shoes/sneakers to have about a quarter/half inch of extra room in front of the toes.. if you are a half size shoe like me and like your normal shoes to fit how I do.... order the half size under your normal...example: if you wear a 9.5 order a 9This is my preference... not everyone will like their Chacos to fit the way I do...Plus if they don’t fit you can always send them back! Also these take about a week or 2 to fully “break-in” don’t freak out if the toe strap is a bit tight... it will eventually get better... trust me....

The size has changed
This is my 5th pair of Chaco classic sandals. I starting buying the around 2005-2006 the size has always been the same 10M. I ordered a pair a couple of weeks ago for our trip to Florida , when I wore them for about 4 hours my feet hurt. I then dug out my old pair and compared the two. The new ones are about 3/8" shorter lengthwise and 1/4" to 3/8" narrower. Also the webbing is of a lesser quality. What a shame I really like these sandals , I have worn them from Africa to the Phillipines and all over the USA.Another company made a great product , worked up a good name for themselves then cheapened everything up.Save your money and buy some $20.00 sandals at wally world.

Toe Strap or Not to Toe Strap - That is the Question
This is my first pair of Chacos and I couldn’t be happier! I went with all black, my size, and the toe strap. There is debate on whether or not the toe strap rocks or not, and I tell you this now reader - the toe strap is the shizzle! I honestly got it because of the added style the toe strap offers, but honestly out of other sandals I’ve worn without toe straps I do see a significant improvement in functionality. First off, they don’t flip or flop which is lovely. Secondly, they are more secure to your foot so walking in them is easier as they stay in place. They take 2-3 days to break in, but once you wear them around the house for a bit you will be good to go! I had to get use to walking in sandals because I’ve been a flip flop guy for so long, but after a couple days I got my footing and am very satisfied with this purchase. I love the toe strap - and I think if you’re looking for an awesome fitting sandal with some personality then get it! If you’ve been debating - get it. Worse case scenario is you can also pull the strap for the toe down and not wear it. Really happy with my first pair of Chacos!

I want to like these sandals.
I bought them in size 11 after reading reviews that said if you are 10.5 order an 11.They arrived the night before I left the country for a trip where I would be walking 6-15km per day.My boots, shoes, and every other footwear that I own is 10.5. I put these sandals on and on the smallest fit they don't. My pinky toe was destroyed and bleeding (Blistered and tore repeatedly) while walking. My foot got blisters all over wear straps touched. I followed the videos on how to adjust straps correctly and my wife has a pair that fits great. The toe strap was uncomfortable, the shoe is longer than my boots. If I had to guess, I would think I was shipped a size 12 or 13 with an 11's tag. They look a bit clownish on my feet. I should have tried them before leaving the country, that's on me. I should have ordered in advance of my trip to leave room for mistakes.Mine are far too dirty after the first use to try to return for a different size, even if I could, I'm out of the US now and won't be back until the end of the return window.I understand it might be useful to get dimensions of the shoe, so that others can make informed decisions about it. I don't have them with me at the moment. For what it is worth, my wife ordered a half size up and hers fit perfect and she loves them.

Good for wet to dry transitions, fits a wide foot, unimpressive sole material.
I purchased these new for my my yearly trip to the Boundary waters canoe area this year (2020). I've previously owned a standard width pair that were problematic due to the lateral border of my foot rubbing on the contoured/formed heel cup causing blisters and eventually calluses to form. The good: It fits my wide foot very well. I have a double E wide foot as measured on a Brannock foot measuring device. And these wide Chacos were comfortable on rocky portage trails because the foot bed accepted and supported my foot well. The toe loops ensured a secure connection with the foot bed in conjunction with the foot bed having good grip when wet. My feet didn't slip around in the foot bed at all. There was no troubles with blisters as mentioned above; I did get some small blisters caused by loose adjustments of the straps, but that was my fault not the sandals. They caused no troubles with fitting my feet into my kayak cockpit. The bad: While the foot bed is grippy and your foot won't slip around, the sole is terrible for the stated purpose of being a wet to (and from) dry surface sandal. You will experience slippage on wet rocks, mud, slopes with dew on grass, and other tenuous surfaces. I lost footing during my trip several times on varying surfaces, and had 2 different falling incidents resulting in some severe bruises because of landing on rocks at the waters edge and on portage trails.(I'm a person with excellent balance, and am qualified to say that because I'm a Physical Therapist; so we can be sure the falls should not be attributed to other factors like me having poor balance, using awkward body mechanics, etc.)My original pair of Chacos had a Vibram brand sole, and these new ones have a Chaco brand sole. After purchasing I found that the company changed soles from Vibram to their company brand some time ago. I'm unimpressed with the real world performance of their new sole material. Other Chacos owners are talking about this problem as well on forums, etc.All I know is that I never experienced a slip using the vibram sole pair of chacos that I own on wet rocks or slickrock sandstone in Utah, and I was a military serviceman and all of my military boots had vibram soles for a reason. You may not have an issue if you are buying these for daily around town use, or light hiking, but be prepared for slipping around and in the water. I will be looking into a resoling option for this set because of the foot fitment. If the slipping issue is corrected this would be the ideal open toed paddling sandal.Anyway, 3 stars for good straps, fitment, and footbed grip. Fix the issue with the slipping on wet surfaces for better marks.I hope someone finds this helpful, Cheers!

Cheaper sole
I bought a pair of Chacos last year and loved them. Decided to get another pair, these ones seem like a cheaper quality sole on them even though they were the same price as my other pair. Will see as time passes, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Strap too long and buckle not at same high
The straps are too long and are touching the floor. The buckles on both the right and left sandal are not at the same hight. The buckle on the right sandal is located too high up and can not be adjusted.
