Women's Elegant Sheer Vintage Short Lace Wedding Dress for Bride

My son and new daughter-in-law decided to give everyone a two and a half week notice that they were getting married. My daughter-in-law was just going to wear a regular dress not a wedding dress. After talking her into a white dress she decided she liked this dress. I bought it for her and it came in and when she tried it on she was upset and said something was wrong. 😂 I had to tell her they shipped it with care which meant they shipped it inside out. After our laugh she went and put it on correctly and let me tell you WOW! It is beautiful! I would definitely recommend purchasing this dress! There was no smell the color is white and it is a WOW dress! She is 5'5 and weighs 114lbs. I ordered her a size 4 and it fit perfectly!

I ordered this to use as my wedding dress (2nd marriage). I love it. It is such a great quality for the money. I was really impressed. I didn't experience any of the smell issues that other did. It will come packaged wrinkled from shipping, so you'll need to steam it. The dress is comfortable and fits well. I typically wear a size 20, but ordered a size 24 based on my hip measurements. The 24 was way too big, so I returned for a size 22, which fit beautifully. (Order based on your bodice measurements, not your hips. The shape of the skirt gives good wiggle room in the hips.) I ended up having it slightly altered on the back so that the keyhole in the back laid flat. But it was otherwise beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I was very excited about this dress, but receiving it was a disappointment. In the description, they say that they will reach out through email to ask for your measurements. I was never asked; I don't think they even had a moment to ask, as the dress was delivered within less than a week of ordering. This dress runs small. It was labeled the size that I ordered, but it was very tight especially in the shoulders and bust. I was hoping that having a dress made with my measurements in mind would work for me, but it can't happen if the store ships standard sizes without reaching out. Opening the packaging, the dress was inside out. I assumed that this was to protect the embroidery on the outside of the dress. The lace is beautiful. When I turned the dress right-side out so I could test the fit, I noticed that some of the stitching in the underskirts had come undone creating a small hole. This hole was not noticeable when the dress was on as it was in between the layers of the underskirts. I have attached a photo of the hole to this review. As I stated above, the dress did not fit. It was too small and too tight. I had to hunch my shoulders forward to keep the button in the back closed. It was not the wedding dress moment I had hoped for. Overall, I am pretty disappointed in this purchase and I have contacted Amazon about returning it. I will be looking at other companies that offer to tailor dresses to measurements, but I am sad that this one could not work out.

Likes: price point, color, material, lace, overall fit, style. The boning in the top and the corset flap. Dislike: not cap sleeves. The more the corset is synced, the more the lace at the armpit dug in. The gape of the "keyhole" back...didn't lay right. The huge glob of heavy stiff toule under the skirt. When I received the dress I was shocked how small the package was. There was a lot of dress. It was heavy and impossible to lace up properly by yourself. I was really impressed with the material, style and price. I am 5.2ish. I ordered up 2 sizes...size 14. I went by the measurements on the chart and other than the length, 14 was the right size. I happily removed the heavy toule under the skirt...it was way too much dress (for me) to manage and ultimately loved the dress more after it was removed. I also had to reinforce the snap at the top and hem it up 3 inches. I changed the corsets lace up and added my own with coordinating wedding colors. I handled this dress a lot, (you may not) but I didn't mind and it really was perfect for our ceremony style. I would recommend this dress.

I was taking a bit of a gamble when I chose this dress for my wife to be, but it turned out to be the perfect choice. It fit beautifully—just as pictured—and looked even better in person. The quality and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. She loved it, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

Fits well, really pretty, perfect amount of puffy no need for a petticoat. Perfect length. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because it really stinks bad.

I had high hopes for this dress. The fabric is nice and the dress itself is well made. The corset in the back is nice. However, the built in bust area is not fit to size. The breast cups are way too close together and only a couple inches apart. I ordered a size 16 which should have fit based on my measurements, but the breast area was for a size 4, I couldn’t even get it on proper. It fit everywhere else nicely, and I thought about getting the breast cups removed and tailored, but it looks they are part of the overall structure and tailoring would have been a nightmare. I wear a C cup, so I am by no means overly busty. This dress is not for anyone over a size 4.

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. I received compliments all afternoon and while sharing photos. It was perfect for summer afternoon. My only complaint is one I had noted in a previous comment. The styling around the arms rubbed all afternoon and irritated the skin. That said, I couldn't have been more happy. It was so, me. I felt beautiful and hubby loved it. It was the perfect dress for a perfect day.

So we followed the instructions for measuring & this isn't nearly the size it supposed to be, in fact it albut fits my 9 year old granddaughter...!!! The top is so narrow I would say its a UK size 6-8 at most...!!! The mesh underneath feels more like chicken wire its so hard, the boning at the bust is misshapen, bent & digs in, so disappointing as the photos look so pretty.

I bought this dress for my Gf for her wedding. It fit perfect. She’s short so it was a little long but worked in her favour. Fit comfortable and looked amazing on her. The dress came really fast and no alterations were required. I wouldn’t normally order a wedding dress online but I’m glad I did and this was perfect. I made her so happy.
