Great soap

purchased VR-1001 Lemonade Foam-N-Wash Yellow-Green with a pressure washier attachment foam canon (sold Separately). and WOW! was blown away on the amount of foam you get for such a small amount used. smells sweet citrus. I was afraid of attracting bees. A good price point for anyone that is not too sure what to get. this product will not disappoint.

I work at a used car dealership where I assist with detailing. We sell mainly cars the are two or three years old. It's amazing to me how neglected many of the cars we get in are. The wash soap is really at the heart of cleaning your car. But one thing we have concluded over the years is that the techniques of the person using the soap, and a willingness to work hard, are far more important than the soap itself. You can have the best soap available but in the wrong hands they may as well be using plain old water. We have tried different products but have concluded that Dawn dishwashing soap works just about as well as most of the commercial products and at a fraction of the cost. We have one store still uses an expensive concentrate that smells great. I like using it but I'm not sure it really does a better job getting dirt off cars. I think that often times it is the strength of the fragrance that convinces us that the soap is strong and doing a better job than a less fragrant soap. I like the scent of this Voodoo Ride soap though when it comes to cleaning a car, that's really of little importance. It is concentrated. Directions say to "mix 4 ounces with 3 or 4 gallons of water." In reality, if you mix it too strong it won't hurt anything. It is just a waste of soap. The idea it to mix it as weakly as you can without compromising the results. The Voodoo Ride does lather up more than Dawn and even more than the commercial soaps that we use. This seems to mean that you may be able to use less and have similar results. We don't use a foam cannon but that does look like fun. And keeping it fun, if your washing your own car, is actually pretty important. If foam and lather make this mundane task more enjoyable, then I'm all for it. The strong fragrance may have a similar enjoyment factor. As far as car wash soap goes, this is about as good as any that I've used. The price is reasonable. It is made in the USA which would allow me to rationalize paying a bit more to help support American business. It may be a small thing to many, but I do not like the name. I'm convinced that names are not meaningless and arbitrary. As a teenager I spent two summers working in Haiti. Voodoo is not a game to be played with. I saw its impact on individuals and on the society. I believe that some things really are evil. Voodoo is one of them. Minus one star.

Awesome soap , great for the paint . Black cars show every little scratch . You need a product like this and I have tried many. This Voodoo Ride Foam Soap Wash is the Best!! 5 Stars All The Way. Check out their "Voodoo Ride Foam Cannon, great product and awesome price!!

One of the positives is that it is thick. Most soaps I buy are more expensive and aren't soap or thick which is one of the things I look out for. The scent is perfect, it doesn't smell too much to give me a headache or to the point where it doesn't smell like anything. The name is pretty wicked and I would buy it again!

This review is for the Voodoo Ride VR-1001 Foam-N-Wash. It comes in a lemonade scent that is fairly subtle in my opinion and could be a little stronger but it does smell good. It foams up very well into a thick lather on the car that helps trap dust and dirt. You don't need to use a ton of this to get the effect you want. I used this is a snow cannon foam gun and it made a very thick foam. What I normally do is coat my car in suds and then give it 5 to 10 minutes to soak. I then rinse it off and coat it one more time. This is the point that I take a cleaning mitt to the car and gently clean it. I rinse the car off and fairly often will foam it up again for the final clean. Doing this takes away most of the first in the first rinse so I run less risk of scratching my paint. Overall a very good car soap. I would absolutely use this again given the opportunity. It did not leave any residue on my car at all and was quick to rinse off and use.
