We needed to replace some carpet in a small spare bedroom. We didn't want to hire a company or buy a carpet remnant and try to cut it perfectly. Plus we have an old cat that sometimes barfs, and wanted something we could possibly take up if we couldn't clean it. This was one of two carpet square brands that had a built in pad and didn't look like patterned Comercial carpet. We bought one box, just to see what we thought, and we were pleasantly surprised. The installation took a day for us. We attached it to a plywood base. It stuck fine without additional glue. The only thing that worried us was there were a lot of loose carpet threads as we installed. But after we got done and vacuumed the stuff up, there were no gaps. Can we still see lines in a couple of spots, yes. But that is on us. I was able to cut the sheets with an utility knife fairly easily as well. We put it down 2 months ago and haven't had any issues. Since furniture covers the couple of spots we left a seem, people haven't noticed it is carpet squares. Feels great on my bare feet and my cat loves to lay on it and stretch out. She didn't do that on the old carpet. We chose the Denali color. I think the price is fair for what you get. We did take off, repaint, and reinstall our baseboards over the edges, so I can't say if it would look as nice if they just went to the wall. The length is short, but plush enough to be soft.

This carpet is absolutely amazing!! It is very good quality, plushy, soft, beautiful, and luxurious. We were looking to carpet a hallway and quoted $1,100 more than we spent to just do the job ourself with these fabulous tiles! And this carpet is prettier and softer than the roll at the warehouse. Installation was very straight forward, the tiles are very precisely straight and uniform, and they cut well, which is a relief because we had to do alot of cutting. We can see seams in spots, but I think they will disappear for the most part after the first vacuuming, will upload a picture after that's done! Going to order a 4th box just incase we ever need to replace any of it.*my only negative about it is there have been a couple random spots on the back without adhesive on them. I only noticed because we've had to cut small pieces, if you're just using the whole square it wouldn't even be noticed. But I don't care at all, that's what carpet tape is for 😁

I bought these and the Smart Squares brand at the same time (SS are a little cheaper). The padding and carpet felt higher quality with this brand. I intended to install both, but will likely return the others and buy more of these for another closet - the cost differential seems worth it.Install was easy as long as you pay attention to edges and plan it out ahead of time. My only gripe, and reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is because the padding thickness wasn't always consistent between tiles - enough that I noticed and did my best to match between squares. I'm not sure if that's normal or if it'll matter in the long run.These were fine for a small closet. I can see the lines in some areas, sometimes, but don't think I'll notice it in the future unless I'm looking for it. That said, I can't see myself installing these in a large room or high traffic area. They'd likely work fine, but when I factor in my time to "get it right" and visible lines in some areas, I'd probably pay a little extra and have someone install normal carpet. If you're not super particular, these would be fine.

We never thought of using carpet squares in a guest bedroom that we were remodeling UNTIL we got estimates from a few shops & they were way over what we had estimated as we had other expenses for the room as well. After searching for carpet squares, we found these on Amazon & the positive reviews made us feel confident we could tackle this job on our own. We loved that we could order the sample box & knew right away that the Yellowstone shade was perfect (light beige with taupe & a bit of darker brown threads twisted in). The entire job took about 5 - 6 hours to install & we followed reviews that recommended watching You tube videos first. Lots of great tips! We did find that some of the squares were not perfectly "square" so had to trim a bit at times, but the carpeting still looks amazing. It is SO soft & cushy due to the padding in each square. We did have some squares where the lines were more evident, but I kept pushing down on the edges & that seemed to help tremendously. We carpeted this room (approx. 140 sq feet) for way less than half of what installed carpeting would have been & we are SO pleased with the results. Just beautiful!! We would not hesitate to use this product again!! Fairly easy to install, but after 3 months, I can still see the edges of the squares.

I am replacing normal carpet and pad in our raised floor structural concrete basement area. I bought 50 boxes of Yellowstone color carpet tile from Five Diamond. I have just started putting this new carpet down and so far, it is going great. This is a very high-quality carpet, and I am very pleased so far. I think the secret to a successful installation is the preparation. I vacuumed the concrete about four times, then damp mopped it, and then vacuumed it again. I then had the vacuum out and vacuumed each square area before installing. After doing this the adhesion of the tile to the concrete was fantastic. I also used painters' tape to hold back the carpet fiber on the already laid carpet tiles, then used the plastic film of the new tile to hold back the fibers of the one I was about to put down. This method made for an almost seam free installation. It is looking terrific.
