8-piece Compression Packing Cubes For Travel w/ HybridMax Double Capacity Design

Update, May 28,2024. Honest review. It was truly a surprise. Like Emily Dickinson’s poem, there’s a lot to be said about HOPE - Hanging Onto Positive Expectations. Well-Traveled’s Customer service contacted me, was very sincere and provided an explanation for what could have been the problem. A new set was provided to make it right. Wow… what an improvement. Packaged well, double wrapped, everything was sealed in plastic WITH tags on them and information cards about their other products. The new Hybrid Max, 8 piece set was packaged well. There’s 2 Large, 1 Medium, and 2 Small Compression cubes with a pocket to hold a luggage tag card plus 2 small, non compression bags and a laundry/shoe bag. It also included 50 luggage tags and a bonus toiletry bag. The zippers are smooth. The luggage tag cards allow you to inventory your items. As I finished my laundry, I used a few cubes to see how well it would fare. The smaller non compression cubes are strictly for organization and are not compression. These cubes hold several pairs of socks or matching underwear/cami sets. The drawstring laundry/shoe bag is a nice addition. It provides a place for shoes and/or laundry that’s water resistant. The medium cube comfortably held 4 Adult Male XLarge Polo style shirts. The Large compression cube seamlessly held a standard Sinomax bed pillow with no tugging or snags (Picture 4). The bonus toiletry bag is super nice and cushiony. It has a space saving design with 3 separate, zippered compartments to hold all of your things. The front pocket, where the logo is is split. Can I say awesome?!!! It’s not a deep pocket that forces you to dig. Items in the top (standard medicine bottles) and items in the bottom (long enough, with room for an iPhone 11, mascara and/or standard tooth brushes. The long, dual zippered back pocket, comfortably held 2 Ozark, 16.9 Oz. water bottles (picture 5). Overall, it’s a good value, it passed my laundry packing test and will help travelers stay organized. This is a sleek set with enough cubes to organize everything you need to travel. This will become a training tool at work for me. 5 Stars for Well-traveled’s customer service (LEARN - Listen (read) the customer’s concern, Empathize, Apologize, Respond, Notify), and making it right. Disclosure: I was not asked to modify or change my original 3 star review. The first 2 pictures are from the 1st order and I should have posted initially. As you can see, it was clearly a return. I purchased a new item, not used or slightly new. I’m really glad I kept the original pictures. I was prepared to send Amazon these pictures if there was a question about my return. The 3rd picture, 5/28/24, with the cards, chocolate & orange toiletry bag and box is a picture of what the Well-traveled company sent me. Original review: Not Compression Cubes Strike 1… My set arrived and appeared as if it was a return. It's a great value with lots of pieces and a nice set if you’re just trying to organize your items for vacation. Strike 2… The zippers were sticky. Strike 3… It’s not a compression cube set. I returned it. I ordered a different set on Amazon and it was Amazing - strong material, smooth zippers and true compression.

These packing cubes just may be the best ones yet. They compact even smaller with a simple zipper. Also 8 pieces is just the right amount of bags for all your packing needs! They’re well made. The compression is half the size of the full bag. Super easy to use. The material is just as thick as you need it so it doesn’t rip. The functionality of these bags is so simple! This set makes travel super easy! I squeezed 7 days worth of clothing into the large bag and it zipped with zero effort. The secondary zipper made it super small! Also, I’d like to add how organized this makes your whole suitcase. I packed more into these cubes than I could ever fit in my suitcase! Worth the money 10 fold!

I had previously used large plastic zip bags to pack my clothes and belongings. These Well Traveled compression cubes were my first set, so I don't have the experience to compare them with others. They look a lot nicer and are much easier to use. However, they're not quite perfect, thus the 1-star takeaway. The fabric material isn't as durable as canvas, the zipper could've been better constructed, and the stitching could've been much tighter. Out of the package, two of the cubes had tears and holes in them with loose stitching. Fortunately, Customer Service came through big time. They offered a full replacement set and refund, along with assurance that their products carry a lifetime warranty. Now that is what you call going above and beyond! Despite the aforementioned flaws, I wholeheartedly recommend this set and all the rest of their products.

I bought these for our trip to Scotland. I was able to back many clothes in the bags and had room for many other items. I had two issues: 1. One of the bags ripped while I was packing to come home. 2. One of the zippers did not zip up all the way. When I got home I emailed the company and they were amazing. They offered to send me a replacement for both of my bags but when I received the confirmation email they also gave me a FULL refund and a whole new set. Their costumer care went way beyond what they needed to do! I was very impressed. I would purchase these bags again and I would recommend these bag to anyone to purchase!

I bought a second set of these Deluxe Compression Packing Cubes in black after traveling across Europe and South America with my first set. My wife and I absolutely love them. Not only do they maximize space in our luggage, but they also keep everything neat, accessible, and impressively organized. We’ve gotten so many compliments from friends and family—people always ask us how we pack so efficiently. My mother-in-law was the latest person to ask, and of course, we recommended this set. They’re durable, elegant, and they really make you look like a travel pro. We won’t travel without them now.

Seriously I'm impressed with the costumer service I had a minor issue nd they went above and beyond to make me a loyal costumer for ever! This are good people trying to build a business so please read carefully so you know what you are getting. The travel packing cubes are a must for my travels and with so many options out there this are my 2 cents. I love the quality, strong material (stiff) but light, color white is gorgeous but a little see through so if you want to conceal what's inside get the black (the only 2 colors I have). Don't be fooled by the size you can fit a LOT if you know how to pack and you can customize with the expandable zippers. The label pockets are awesome and comes with everything you need to have the most beautiful, organized, space saving luggage. Plus lifetime warranty!

I’ve purchased these before and am generally very happy with them; so much so that I bought another pack. The quality/durability of these is pretty great! I am, however, disappointed in the last order as these aren’t exactly cheap and I do like to label these but they forgot to include the “50 Luggage Tag Cards”. I don’t really want to go through the replacement process as I don’t need a new set, just the cards.

Update: just returned from a month of traveling with these and changing hotels every 24-48 hours. We used the compression zippers the entire trip and the zippers and seams held up. None of the hotels had dressers or drawers so these were essential when having to easily access cloathes and repack to leave quickly. I can honestly say that the compression does actually save space, contrary to many reviews. However The space that is saved is minimal and pertains to the edges of the suit case. So in a suit case this creates extra space around the edges where you can pack miscellaneous items vs if these are fully expanded you no longer have those extra nooks and crannies. These are decent travel cubes and kept my husbands cloathes clean even when he spilled coffee on them. I was excited that these arrived and bought them for a three week trip through Asia. I bought them despite negative reviews and with the expectation to not be able to use the compression zipper. These are cheaply made and I don’t expect them to last without needing repair. However I was able to pack five days worth of my husbands cloathes into these. Mind you the cloathes are all spring and summer light weight breathable fabrics. In the medium bag I fit 5 shirts+ a light weight jacket, in the large bag I fit three pairs of pants and two pairs of his arctryx shorts + one set of pajamas, and in the small bag I fit Four pair of his boxer briefs, two pair of socks and a light weight neck gator WITH ROOM to spare! I was able to compress all of the bags with the extra zipper. The compression zipper it’s actually compressing anything as much as it is simply taking in any slack in the bag. The key to compression bags is to pack your items laying flat on top of one another and not rolling things. When you roll your pants or shirts they become bulky around the edges of the bag aka the seams and are harder to use. The seams are very weak and I have packed a travel sewing kit in anticipation of needing to fix some broken seams in my near future. I don’t recommend using these for bulky item packing or you will greatly increase the chance of breaking the seam. I fit these easily into an international size carry on with room to spare!
