Almost like the original
While not exactly like the original Aladdin mug, this mug is great. Sturdy construction, easy to clean, and fits well in most cup holders. Good for hot or cold beverages.

Can reheat coffee in microwave
Light weight 16 oz mug is perfect. Fits most single serve coffee makers.

Comfortable to drink from
I have tried several double wall “insulated” beverage containers. This one has a nice lid that snaps on and feels like drinking from a traditional cup. True it doesn’t have a closure for travel but I only use it at home to keep my coffee from cooling off too quickly. It’s not as good as some I’ve tried but better than a traditional cup.

Works for me.
Bought this for my morning coffee at home. A regular cup just doesn't keep it hot enough. This cup does a much better job though it will cool off within 30 min. I usually fill it with really hot water from our sink before pouring my coffee. I knew when I purchased it that the drinking area didn't have a closure on it - has a lid with a hole for drinking but no sliding tab to close, so that was no problem for me but may be for those who use it for commute. You can position the drinking hole anywhere on the cup. I like mine off centered mostly because I just wrap my hand around the mug to drink..I don't use the handle often.

No closer on lid
Met needs for lighter weight cup. Without a closing lid not a good selection for a travel mug.
