No joke! First time I used this tent, we had a severe storm blow through the campground. There were 70+ mph winds and heavy rain. We did not waterproof the tent beforehand either. After driving to a safe location during the storm, we came back to the tent intact. The inside was dry as a bone too and stayed dry throughout the night as the heavy rains continued. I like how both sides have the air vents, as it allows the tent not to be as stuffy during hot nights. I am able to set up this tent on my own, which is very helpful to my camping experience. I am also able to stand up in the middle and not touch the top of the tent with my head (I'm 5'6). I really like the rainfly configuration and the lines that come with it to keep it in place. Such a cute tent, and has a lot of space! A potential downside is the size of the tent bag. I like that I do not have to do lots of folding to fit it into the bag, but it also means the bag is bigger, which can be challenging for those who do not have a lot of space for it in storage and in their vehicles. The straps are nice as it allows the tent not to expand while in the bag.

6-person tent went up fast, lots of head room and i am 6 feet tall. had to relocate it, collapsing, moving and set up again took around 5 minutes. one night it began to rain so I threw the rain fly on. went on fast and stays away from the tent allowing great air flow. Nice and dry inside with water getting under the tent. I did not use any stakes for either the tent or fly. zipper was flawless with perfect number of windows. Used it 5 days. best tent I have owned so far, and I only ordered it because it could be delivered in 2 says. I love coming across a hidden gem like this every now and then. Queen size air mattress fit with lots of room for chairs, small table, knight stand, 2 back packs and a cooler and the carrying bags. still, plenty of room to move around.

I purchased the 6 person tent primarily for camping with friends in the summer, and for Renaissance Faires. I needed something that was big enough for me and all my garb, and tall enough so I could change inside (I'm 5'5"). I live and camp in the PNW. So far I've used this tent a couple of times. It is spacious, and all the vents are nice. I can set it up and take it down by myself in under 5 minutes. One night there was rain, I slept right through it but apparently it was heavy. I woke up to find a puddle under the door zipper. Everything else was bone dry, and the interior walls of the tent were also dry despite water droplets on the exterior. There wasn't any pooling on the rain fly. Overall I think this is a good tent so far but it's a little expensive for what you get. Pros: easy to set up/take down for 1 person; spacious; vents and windows are nice; tub bottom seems pretty sturdy and thick; tall enough for me to stand and then some; hook and storage pocket in ceiling is convenient. Cons: Door zipper gets stuck a lot; poles feel cheap, I'm afraid I will break them when I'm extending them during set up; door leaked during rain.

This tent is very easy to set up. It is better than most tents l have bought so far. It is well made. Found it to be spacious for my wife and dog. Kept us warm at night by the Salmon River in the Klamath National Park. Easy to put back in the bag. I was pleasantly surprised how good the tent was.

I'm a fair weather camper and this is a perfect tent for that. It was super easy to figure out the setup. The rainfly allows a lot of air-flow. Definitely recommend. I can't tell you if it's rain proof. I'm the type of camper that would pack things up if it rains.
