This charger is thick so I feel it will be durable. The charger that came with my portable dvd player was a little flimsy and the cord began to fray where it connects to the head of the charger, and we had that almost a year, so I imagine getting longer use from this one. It works great and I like that there are different sized connectors, it makes it versatile as well! Great buy!

Great product! I bought this charger for an old Portable Sylvania DVD player so my daughter could keep it charged in the car while she traveled with my sister five long hours to the beach. It worked just fine, cord reaches all the way the the backseat with no problem. I initially needed the dual ends for two different DVD players I found but only one of the DVD players worked. I checked both ends to make sure and both charging ends were fine it was just an old DVD player that no longer worked.

Works well, but I was under the impression the line was adjustable. I needed these to reach our 3rd row from the rear cigarette holder, they just barely reached and will likely be pulled out over and over again

Nothing too fancy, but it does power our dual screen / dvd player for our car. The cord is much longer than the OEM cord, which is good (in our case). No complaints about the product, I would recommend to those in need (of course, don't forget to verify the voltage on this is what your unit needs).For any others that purchase this due to an incident with the OEM cord having broken (e.g., kids hanging off of them, adult stretching the cord too far by accident, etc), be warned that you may also need to replace the audio cable (as our unit had both on one cable set, and damage was done to both of the OEM cables). We experienced a bit of frustration at first, until we determined it had nothing to do with the new power supply!

This was the perfect thing to have on our family vacation to use with our portable DVD players. The cord is plenty long and !

The cord that came with the DVD player was not long enough. This cord is more than long enough and arrived quickly.
