Best informal word game
We love to play this game with house rules--we don't accept proper nouns like names or acronyms, and the word has to be in a real dictionary (sorry UrbanDictionary, you don't count!). The best aspect of this game is that once you are done you can wander around and help others with their words. There's chatter about the validity of words, there are side conversations about strategy, there are compliments on the words people come up with--the game really gets people talking. It works with my 90 yr old family members as well as my teenagers. We don't keep score so there are no tears or arguments like with other games (Monopoly). Also it helps bolster your kid's vocabulary. All around it is a wonderful game.

I gave this game to my young adult daughter and we played it many times over the Christmas holidays. Lots of fun - we love board games and word games especially, and this was a hit! Easy to learn. Ages 20 - 80+ enjoyed!

3rd Graders Ask for Dabble
Very simple to put together and durable. Students are enjoying it. We are just putting words together right now…not really playing by the rules yet or using the timer. They are keeping their scores. It’s a hit!

Family fun while you build vocabulary skills with kids
I bought this game to help my tween girls build their vocabulary without them feeling like it was "work". We love playing this game as a family! They have so much fun and beg to play.

Fun and addictive!
If you are a fan of Scrabble or Boggle type games, you need this one! It took a couple times to get the hang of it, but it's fun, not super easy yet not beyond reach either. I do not hesitate to say get this game! There are six 'bleachers', if you will, each containing a growing number of tiles. You unscramble the letters to make a two-letter word, three-letter word, etc through six letters. You have five minutes to complete it. If you don't make it, you still get points for what you got done, and it shows you an example of how it could have been done. You are not looking for a certain group of words - any six you can make are ok, so no worries about getting some exact set of six words. All in all, very fun, good purchase, and I recommend the game.Dabble Is a Fast Thinking Tile Word Game - It's Challenging, Educational, and Fun for the Whole FamilyA fun family game for the kids, parents and grandparents. Fun game but...
I love word games. The concept of this game is what prompted me to buy. The execution of this game has prompted me to give this honest review.Game Pieces: The game pieces are very cheap. The stands are very difficult to put together and take apart. The piece that slides into the platform to make it stand upright seems to be too big for the slot. Unfortunately, you can't use the tile platform with out the stand piece and you can't store the platform in the game box with the stand attached. I'm going to try to sand it down for a easier fit, hope it works. The letter tiles are see through. The game play includes placing all the tiles face down on the table and drawing random tiles. Unfortunately, with them being see through, the drawing process is not so random. Had they provided a grab bag this would have eliminated this problem. I am planing to make or purchase a grab bag. I was pleasantly surprised to find additional tiles for Spanish play. Bonus points to whoever made that decision.Game Play: It is a fun game to play, however, I don't think the timer gives you enough time to do anything. Perhaps after playing this many times you can focus on timed play but as beginners it didn't allow for much game playing to take place. We altered the game to exclude the timer. The first person to get all five words ends the round and gets a bonus. All the other players must stop at that point and everyone counts up their tile points. No score card was provided so we just played single rounds rather than adding up all the points from the multiple rounds.Despite all the flaws we will still play this game, however, if I were to do it again, I would not purchase this game for more than $15. You can basically play this game using your own scrabble tiles. If the manufacturer fixes the issues I listed above, then you'd have a decent game worth the $25 they're selling it for.
