The strongest and most durable on the market
I began to purchase refilit in 2013 for two fillings that had fallen out from my back teeth. I knew the next step for each tooth was either a crown or an implant. Refilit bought me time until I could afford to go to the dentist. I, finally, was able to go in the fall of 2017. The dentist was "impressed" by my dental work with Refilit. By filling it quickly it saved most of my two teeth. To be clear, there is a lot of risk with infection that can spread to the bone, and even the brain by waiting as long as I did to go to the dentist. So, please don't wait to seek help. But, if you need something to buy a little time this repair is great! I've tried everything on the market and this lasted the longest with chewing and bot losing its integrity. You'll need to experiment with the best way to use it for your situation, but its worth it!

How to Make a Refilit Filling
First, rinse your mouth 👄 out with warm water by swishing the water around several times like you do with mouthwash; to make sure the cavity has no food in it. Next with dry hands take the white applicator and use the flat side and scoop out an amount appropriate for your size cavity. Roll the filling material into a ball and place it into the cavity with your fingers. Then use the other side of the applicator with the ball on the end. Use this side of the applicator to pack the Refil-it into your cavity. Use a dental mirror to check your work and once you are satisfied, you will need to check your bite by biting down several times. If your bite feels off then take a dental mirror and look to see 👀 if you have any Refil-it between some of your teeth and then simply remove it with dental floss or your fingernail. Then check your bite again to make sure you have proper bite and then rinse your mouth 👄 with cold water and your done. I personally don't eat or drink anything for one hour after making a filling. I also make my filling before bedtime. How long the Refil-it filling lasts depends on how large a filling you needed and what types of food you eat. I have a large cavity so my Refil-it filling can last up to 6 weeks but if I eat a lot of steak and popcorn than it will only last 3 weeks. If you also suffer from sensitive teeth, I highly suggest that you try Sensodyne with Novamin toothpaste ( sold here on Amazon) because it will help strengthen your teeth by remineralizing them. Each individual Refil-it container lasts me about 3 months.

It could not act as an alternative to dentist
It is so easy to use as advertised. But it lasts for only 1-2 days.

Doesn’t work anymore.
I’ve used this product a few times and it worked great. Now it doesn’t stick at all. Don’t know what the change was but you should have left it alone. It’s TRASH now.

It works, so far!
I've had it on my tooth for a day, covering a rather large hole in my wisdom tooth. I was a little skeptical (some of the reviews said it was complete garbage, and you just never know what you're going to get with Amazon!), but when you're in that much pain you'll do just about anything to get by. First, make sure you brush your teeth (this can be dry brush) to clear all the debris out of the cavity before you fill it. Sterilize the little applicator and your fingers if you must. The little jars don't have much in them, but I swear, a little really does go a long way. They say not to eat for an hour, but I'd say 90-120 minutes is a much better estimate of hardening, especially if your tooth is far in the back like mine is. The edges aren't sharp, but i sterilized my fingers and just used that to apply it instead of the applicator. Don't put your fingers in the jar of filling material, just so you don't accidentally incubate any nasty stuff that could go into your mouth earlier. I slept soundly for the first night in two weeks and I've eaten 3 meals with it in, all without a problem. I do still feel a little pain when I put pressure on the tooth, but that's to be expected. Yay! This stuff is great and hopefully it'll last me until I can get into the dentist. If something catastrophically awful goes wrong I'll update this later. A much better solution that rubbing tons of oragel on your tooth and eating aspirin like there's no tomorrow :)

good but temporary repair.
The first little container opened was somewhat dried out and contained small hard pieces making it difficult to have a smooth enough ball that could be placed into the opening on the tooth. Even after it was set a large amount of gravely pieces came off of the temporary filling. Furthermore, the whole filling came out while eating the next day. The second package opened was much better. The material had no hardened pieces in it, was easily formed into a bowl with my fingers, and was easily press into place on the tooth that needed it. This application although leaving some residual material in my mouth, lasted for over a week.

#1 brand only one for me
This is the best product when ya need to cap something or fill a hole temporarily. It hardens tgen stayes. I do it before bed because food/drink can mess it up before it sets. Also if its too soft when you open just roll it around until it hardens a little before you put it in or ad a lil liquid to it. Opening a new obe it can be a lil toi soft.

Something changed in this company
And it's not just the packaging. They must have hired new management that decided to cut corners and got cheap on the ingredients. It used to be the best product, strong, long-lasting, I would forget it for weeks...now, the amalgam is very friable, breakable and easy to lose, barely stays in place a few days ... maybe they want the customers to buy more often....disappointing! time to look for alternatives.

After adding a bit of water product was a bit easier to work with. We ordered 2 six pac's but only needed one. The product will go a long way. But it is old and dried out.

What a joke. Doesn't stay in the tooth at all. Not even for 5 minutes.
