Installed quickly and works perfectly in my HP desktop
This supply replaced the original HP supply, which had failed. I installed easily and restored the pc to normal operation. Couldn't be more pleased.

Perfect
This power supply works great, and fits perfectly. Same size and shape as original and no problem with the mounting screws. HP Slimline s5-1224.

Slight modification needed...but still worked
Even though this was the same model # as my existing power supply in my 10 year old desktop, it was slightly different. The pin-out for P1 to the motherboard was different by a couple of conductors. The P3 to the hard-drive had one less conductor than the original. I had to re-use the connector from my old power supply for P3 on the new because the new was too big for the tight space at the hard-drive.Even though there were the discrepancies, I installed it and powered it up. I figured it was a 10 year old computer...so what if it smokes. No smoke and the computer works just fine now.

It's what's inside that counts.
This power supply was a direct fit replacement for the HP 633195-001 power supply in an HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1126. It has the same connectors (full size ATX, 4-pin 12v, and two SATA) and is the same physical size. I opened it up to compare the insides with the original HP power supply. Observations...1. This unit has much fewer parts inside than the original. (see photos)2. This unit weighs 1/4 lb less than the original.3. This unit's heatsinks appear to have less surface area and their placement may actually restrict airflow vs. the original which are positioned for air to flow through them. The large heatsink is positioned like a wall, not conducive to airflow. (see photos)4. The power indicating LED on this back of this unit only illuminates when the unit it powered on unlike the original which indicates anytime AC power is present, even when the computer is powered off. I don't see the point of having the LED on this new unit under these circumstances.5. The new power supply uses fine thread screws to mount to the chassis whereas the original was coarse. It did not come with screws. The screws you will need are common, you can rob them from a CD-ROM drive if needed.6. One of the questions posted was asking if this was UL Listed. I see no such markings and even if it did I would doubt the authenticity.I'm a person that's dealt with many quality OEM products but I've also seen the other side of the spectrum too in regards to low quality parts. My opinion is that this a cheaply made replacement power supply of questionable quality. Because it only fits some specific models there is a special demand for it, hence the price. In my situation HP Parts Depot had no availability on genuine replacement power supplies. Sometimes we're left with few choices and products like this fill a need. Hopefully it holds up and proves to be decent.

Make sure your power supply’s part/serial no matches this product
I bought this power supply for my HP pavilion slim PC. When I would shut the computer down it would not turn back on until a day or two later. Then USB ports stopped working. This product is nearly identical to the manufacturer’s and fixed the issue. Easy to install and has a nice hum to it too. Great product and great seller.
