This review is long overdue. I'm only writing this review today bcos I've come back to purchase some more. I used to drive about 30 to buy this product at the mall and got sick of doing that. I've purchased online int he past from another seller, but the lotion is not original. At times it comes out brown and or with bad odor and at the end of the day, the lotion doesn't even work, so I stopped buying from that seller. One day I decided to go back online and look for another seller and luckily I found this seller who I took a chance on. The lotion came just as described. White appearance, no bad odor and best of all....it WORKS! My skin is clearer (not bleached), it gives a light tone to the skin and smooth appearance. I can't get enough of this lotion. I apply to my face and body and it does not clog up pores. Thanks again :)

This body milk is AMAZING!!it really makes my skin glow and bright..it blended my skin so well just after 2 weeks of use..the spots on my face are fading out bit by bit.After trying sooooo many body lotion,i can finally say I’ve found the right one for me(no pun intended,lol)Tip;it works better with makari body oil,glycerin and soap 🤗 FYI;this is not a bleaching cream!

I have been using this product and I had to share that I love it so much, it's soothing when applied to my skin, have a weird smell that is tolerable. Tones my skin, and is very effective even on dark spots.

This body lotion actually works quite well. I initially bought it because I wanted to even out my skin tone on my upper chest, arms, and back. Because I started using this during the summer and wore dresses more often than not, I also used this lotion on my legs and feet. At first, I didn’t know if I would stick to using this lotion; it was very thick and took a while to absorb. I also didn’t enjoy how it smelled (the fragrance seems to dissipate quickly and once it’s on I didn’t notice it anymore). However, because of the excellent reviews for Makari's products , I figured I’d get through the bottle and see how it worked. I’m glad I stuck to it. After one month, I noticed my skin was actually brighter, smoother, and the tone had evened out a bit. I was nervous about the lotion causing breakouts because creamy lotions usually do. Happily, I never once broke out using this lotion. In order to manage the thickness, I ended up squeezing out a bit of the lotion first so I could dip my fingers into it, misting my legs with rose water I happened to have on hand and that made the application process a lot easier. On my upper body, I usually put the lotion on after I showered while my skin was still damp or after I’d put my vitamin C serum or glycolic acid serum on. A surprising change I didn’t expect was that using this lotion has been helping to eliminate some keratin pilaris I have on my legs. After two months of use, the tiny bumps are nearly all gone. My first bottle is nearly done. I finally decided to just put a little warm water in the bottle, shake it up and now the lotion comes out much easier. Yes, it’s diluted, but I’ve been diluting it this whole time and it still works quite well. I have ordered a second bottle; I’m interested in seeing how this works into fall and winter. I think Makari makes quality products. I’m using a few other products of theirs and they seem to work as advertised so far. I would love to see a version of this lotion that smells better and is less dense (or comes in a tub rather than squeeze bottle), hence the 4 star, rather than 5 star review.

I started and never went back. This option keeps your skin moisturized ALL day! My skin tone has been good too! Worth the money!

The reason I’m giving it three starts is because it’s extremely creamy and not easily absorbed into skin. It’s also very hard to get out of the bottle. Maybe Makari can package it differently in a container with a wider opening to make it more user friendly. It’s also not quite moisturizing so I had to purchase the extreme Argan and carrot botanical oil as recommended on The makari website to use along with this and it works wonders as far as moisturizing. Other than these it gently evens out uneven skin which is great and fades dark spots. It works gradually which I prefer because the results end up making your skin naturally radiant as opposed to bleaching.
