So cute
This is such a cute book and a great way to introduce being a sibling to your child. Got this as a gift for my daughter when I was pregnant with her brother and it was so perfect that I got one for my friends child when she was getting a brother too

Perfect book for a big sister
This book is one of our favorite gifts for a new big sister. It is such a sweet story about becoming a big sister and helping a child understand the excitement and changes that come with a new sibling. The pictures are bright, cheerful, and really add to the story, making it engaging for young readers. My daughter loved looking at the illustrations while we read together. It is thoughtful, heartwarming, and perfect for any child who is about to welcome a new sibling. This book makes a big transition a little easier and a lot more fun.

If you're unsure...
Read the negative reviews. If you find it troubling that book describes how baby brother might be annoying and pee in your eyes, then don't buy the book... If you're looking for a cute book to help your toddler understand what a baby brother is and what our new life might look like, then buy the book! I found it to be great and cute! I didn't find it to be negative or triggering, I found it to be a good introduction and an opportunity to talk about several aspects of getting a baby brother.

Cute book
This was a cute book to lead discussions with my almost four-year-old about what it will be like to have a baby brother. It has short simple rhymes and incorporates humor. Just the right length and information for an older toddler or young preschooler. It will really depend on the person if they find the humor appropriate. One of the lines goes "you better watch out or he'll pee in your eye". My daughter thought this was hilarious and I personally didn't have a problem with it. It covers the good and the bad: a baby brother will screw up your toys, best to prepare your older child for that but it will also be a rewarding experience. We like to talk about how important being a big sister will be and how she can teach him things. This book covers that nicely. The ending is sappy but never fails to tear me up in my hormonal state.

My daughter loves this book!
My daughter absolutely loves this book. It is a great tool to introduce the idea of another sibling. She is two and we have been talking about a baby in mommy's tummy. This is an awsome way to prepare her to what's coming in the future. 🫣🫣

Cute book!
Out of all the "we're having a baby!" books I've purchased for our toddler, this is my favorite. The illustrations are very cute, and the rhyming story is fun. I like that it is honest and shows that babies can be challenging and difficult, but it then states that babies don't know any better and they need their big sibling to help teach them what to do. It helps encourage the older child to take an active part in their little brother's life. Great little story, and my toddler likes it too!

This book is great. It's funny
This book is great. It's funny, cute and honest. My daughter really wanted a baby sister, but she is getting a baby brother. We read this book together and yes, as I was first reading it I though "how negative" but there was a reason and completely made sense by the end of the book. It opened up conversation with my daughter and she is really excited about having a baby boy around. My daughter asks to read it many nights, we've had it about a month now, and each night we talk about something new she is going to teach baby brother how to do or how she can help take care of him.
